  1. Hey y'all. You lot are ones I go to with Fusion questions because I know you'll know.... My question is this - I bought four new tires, 2 years ago, and rims for my 2014 Fusion Titanium (16x7.0 5x108, 205/65r16) and I now have a 2017 Sport. Would those tires still fit on my new Fusion? Apparently bolt pattern is the same and the 16s are sold on base model 2017 Fusions... but tire shop is concerned the brake calipers or some shit in the front brakes on this Sport will be bigger and therefore these older tires will not fit this new Sport. Anyone with any experience with this?
  2. Came here looking for something similar... 2014 Fusion started showing wear and tear on the piping in the drivers seat... I mentioned it at my service and GG Ford replaced the leather seat cover of the driver's seat totally. But, I now notice that it bulks and hangs differently in some places (Not being so form fitted) and I am wondering if it gets better with time....
  3. I've tried searching with no luck... My 2013 fusion had an annoying door rattle the dealer said was a rip in the water vapor barrier. My 2014 fusion now has an even worse one. When it's at its worst, I can push the door trim outwards towards exterior of the car and it stops. Best I can tell, it's the map holder/ little storage compartment at the bottom of the door just cheaply manufactured. I was hoping I could paste/tape/glue the inside where it seems weakest? Was hoping you smart people had some experience or ideas. Sound deadening ideas? I'm up here in Canada. Will buy you beer if you come fix it for me. James
  4. I'm also looking into the changes... My current tire is 235/40/19. I think I've settled on 205/60/16 Blizzak WS 80s. Anyone see any issues with that? I've triple checked and everyone I've asked says that size is best, even though it's 3 down.. Found a sweet deal here in Calgary and am excited to rip in snow now.
  5. My fusion has finally been fixed. It took over two months. I have no idea what they're going to do with the other 700,000 their trying to recall. I hear they have less that 1000 of the parts left. Fun times. Good luck y'all.
  6. Wasn't so much mis searched, was that I haven't recently enough apparently. Been so long I gave up. Nice work, you're good at this. Thanks..
  7. Oh. It currently ISO a known problem? I've looked everywhere and seen nothing... Been an infuriating process. An SEL Edge is nothing like my Fusion. When it's driveable.
  8. Anyone else having serious issues? My 2013 Fusion, on a simple highway drive, lost its shit with bells and icons lighted up, showing concern for ABS, airbags, traction control and some sort of trac stability problem. I took it in to Ford thinking it would take a couple hours to reset something, they've since had it for 9 weeks, deemed it 'unsafe to drive' and still tell me it won't be fixed for another 5 weeks!! I've been driving Fords faithfully for over 15 yrs and this has made me irate. They find the part but can't ship it, find the new part but won't send it express... Im not sure Ford cares any more. I hear my car is. Ow the first of 8 now sitting at their lot in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.. Anyone going thru this? I'm planning on returning my lemon and upgrading to a 2014, anyone know if this same issue will then be possible for 2014?
  9. I just bought a 2010 Ford Fusion and the button on the steering wheel, that you would use to skip tracks, radio stations, etc.. (The one with two little arrows left, then two little arrows right) no longer works. It worked 3 days ago. I remember starting the car and none of the buttons seemed to work (for SYNC) initially and then started to work again. Now, it doesn't work, but ONLY for the iPod. I can't skip songs on an iPod with this button, but I can from the button on the deck. Any thoughts? Can I simply reset SYNC for that to work? Thanks in advance!
