I think there are 2 different mats depending on when you got your car. Mine is from Sept. 09 and has the one hole in it where it fits the little do hicky in the carpet to hold it in place. I think I remember a few months back where Ford changed the design so now it mounts in 2 places like yours. Call Weathertech, they're good people and explain your problem and they'll make it right.

Ya got a big hole in the roof that you can see before getting out which in my opinion a lot bigger than a tiny light on the panel. If you still miss it before getting out again look at the roof there is STILL a big hole there

I just keep my car clean and don't have to mask the odors from dirt and what else. Plus I love the smell of fresh leather in the morning. :hysterical2:

None of the ones I listen to have commercials and very little talk. Almost all music, go 60's and 70's.

I too have never felt this in the year we have owned our Hybrid. I'd have the dealer rotate the tires to see if this is the problem and if it goes away then they can replace the two that were on the front with new wheels and tires. If it still vibrates then they could borrow a couple from another new car and if still a problem then they need to do some investigating. Also make sure they have done a complete front end alignment.

You need to turn the key full on WITHOUT TOUCHING THE BRAKE until after the key is full on.

By accident yesterday I decided to adjust the volume on my Nav radio while the woman was giving me directions. I discovered that I can adjust the Nav voice by turning up the sound while she is speaking. This is seperate from the radio vol.

Re-read the orginal post. The poster was very worried about his daily drive of about 1.5 miles and only that. He didn't say anything about driving a lot on the highway etc. If all he is worried about is that 1.5 mile drive each way then my post was spot on. He is wasting at least 3K by buying the Hybird. Now if he reposts and gives us a better feel on how many miles per year/week etc. maybe we could give him a better answer.

and this past winter in the 20's or below 11 to 14 for a 2 mile ride and this was with it plugged into 110 to heat the water and in a 40 degree garage. I still feel if you're going to do a lot of the 2 miles or less driving to work save the 3K+ of the hybrid.

That short of a distance I doubt if the electric engine will even kick in so you will cover both distances on the gas engine which makes the Hybrid a complete waste of money. And if you live where it is cold it can/does take me a good 4 to 5 miles for the hybrid to kick in and if real cold it kicks out again after a short distance. Remember the hybrid is only good for city driving at speeds below 47mph. I think you will be wasting a lot of money and gain nothing. Most likely lose some mpg.

I have the lifetime Sirius subscription but got email saying they turned the travelink back on till June 6th I believe the date was trying to get me to buy that too. So I'm guessing they turned on everyone or at least fairly current X customers trying to bring them back.

On the Nav system you go to travel link where you can get weather, scores, fuel prices, movie listings, etc.

That was the main reason Ford and Firestone got into trouble a few years ago. Ford in order to get a better ride had the tire pressures on the Explorer about 4 to 6 lbs below what they should have been causing them to heat up on the highway till they blew causing crashes and death. Is a little bit smoother ride worth your life. Me, NO.

I guess I just have to wonder why you would want posts to places that sell ex war. when you can't/haven't a use for them.

Not having my books near by doesn't the Hybrid parts come with there own warranty that is a lot more than the car warranty? I'm thinking like 7 yrs and 100K for those components.

Do me and the others who maybe complained just a little less loudly a favor and post your thoughts or beliefs just once but like a lot of us will most likely do in the future is when they see a post from you may just skip over it wondering just what you are up to this time. I have been taking all my cars through auto car washes for well over 25 years and never lost anything yet. They do a good job and besides, it is just a stupid car, not my wife.

We saw no improvement and we had ours done a few weeks ago. I have to wonder out loud if maybe improving weather could be why. We are now starting to see a pretty big improvement in mpg but had the recall done and a good couple weeks of cold weather saw NO improvement. Also on ours the display was reset do to I'm guessing the battery unhooked during the reprograming of the computer. If you had a low mpg due to cold weather maybe now that it is warming up could be the reason you see a big improvement in mpg.

E85 is 85% alcohol and only 15% gas so under no circumstances should you run it if your car wasn't built for it. The engine needs special gaskets, the gas tank needs to be either stainless steel, plastic or a fuel bladder of somesort plus many other changes to the car.

Just tell everyone it was a bobwire scrach the steer got before his death.

Got mine last Oct. 5th and got 2 remotes and both are still on the original batteries, but then again it would be hard to compare as each use the remote different amounts.
