  1. Just a word for thought. I belong to a couple of Motorhome forums and there are many people who have tried taking them off due to big stone chips, mold getting behind them and other reasons. The verdict is that it is nearly impossible to get them off without losing some paint too. Be prepared to spend many many hours if you have very much on your car.
  2. If it was, I'm betting it isn't anymore. They have a hot car on their hands and I hope they expand on it.
  3. If it is within the warranty period and meets the requirements as not to many miles or to many years it should be automatically transfered. I'm guessing if you stop by your local Ford dealer and talk with a service writer or if you have a manual it should tell you in it on what you need to do.
  4. I was in a hurry last night, you know New Years Eve and all. What I should have said was have them replace the front wheels and tires off another car just to see if the orginal wheels/tires are good. Just because they balance out doesn't mean there isn't something wrong.
  5. yea, one little thing out of a hundred. And those were just Mickey Mouse. Fix some of the big things like clicking on thread on left and going to the begining like every other site.
  6. I'd like to have a buck for everyone who thinks they can get by with an aftermarket nav and then after they get their new car (doesn't matter what brand) wish they had the factory nav installed and then go through the roof when they find out it would cost them a fortune to retrofit one into their car. I have the factory nav unit, it isn't perfect by a long shot and yes some aftermarket stuff will do more but once you learn the factory system and all the other stuff it does, PLUS no matter where I stop and get out I know my nav will be there when I get back and I didn't have to unhook it, hide it, get it back out and replug everything back in each time I stop. Sure I could leave it home and only use it on trips but there has been many times I have used the factory nav when I really didn't think I would. Yes I also have a Garmin that I use but that is in my motorhome and goes between that and the car I tow when camping and that is the only time I use it. Yes the factory nav costs more than a Garmin but you really don't know the final cost of it until you sell the car. Remember there is a value to it on a car you sell. I just went to the Nada site and put in a 07 Fusion with 33K and the nav is still worth a thousand bucks. My point is I don't care what you get but just think it out very carefully as once you buy a new car without the factory nav YOU CAN'T ADD IT without a ton of money.
  7. Both my cars have them and the only bad thing I can say about them is that where you park your left foot on the foot rest that my Hybrid and HHR have is Weathertech cut the liner to low at that point which allows all the gunk from my foot to drip/drop below the liner at that point. When I take out the liner to clean it there is always dirt and grim at that point. If they would have just added another one inch or so to the top at that point. I emailed them but as yet received no reply.
  8. It seems to be a complete waste of time posting to this thread as no one here ever reads it and I doubt if anything has even been fixed from any of the hundreds of posts. All I can say is thank god the members here are great and there is plenty of good info as if that were not the case most of us would go elsewhere where the host cares about us.
  9. My hybrid you just insert the key and turn it on, you don't even have to turn it to the start as the little green go light in lower right corner is already on. Just put it in gear and go.
  10. $10K, how do you figure that? I paid $29K for my Hybrid with every option and I'd like to see a non Hybrid Fusion with leather, sunroof and nav for $19K as I'd buy it. I think you'd better recheck your figures or learn to dicker with the dealer better.
  11. Yes I like my color as I once had a white car and after spending a 1/2 day waxing it I couldn't really tell the difference. So we tend to buy dark colors. Some people think white cars are the best as they don't show the dirt as much. I tend to not agree with that and another thing I hated with the white car was in the hot summer each time I drove it there would be tar spots on it and sometimes by the wheels it would look like mud splashed up on it. I know all cars get this but it don't show up on black. Each spring I take my cars to the local Chevy Body shop as they detail the complete car inside and out, hand wax plus you can eat off the engine when they are done and all for $149
  12. Maybe they figured like I do. Just what use is it. With both hands on the steering wheel I don't need it nor do I need it to get in/out of the car. Lots of cars only have 3 of them. The only useful ones I have seen/had were the ones on the windshield piller and in the case of the vehicles that had them that I owned were all 4 wheelers.
  13. You need to watch it now days as lots of seats also contain the side curtain air bags which would/could make it against the law to tamper with them.
  14. I guess I don't quite understand how it works. You push a button on the Iphone and it starts your car. So I'm 500 feet away and next to Wifi but how does it talk to the car? I know BB installed some kind of box but in order to talk to the phone wouldn't it need its own cellphone?
  15. The answer is NO, if you want remote start get used to two of them. I see no big deal as Ive owned GM cars for years and you get a key and remote on their cars. I just put my FFH remote and key in my pant pocket and I don't even know its there. A woman carries a big enough purse she'll never know it's there.
  16. What good does it do to leave feedback here when since DAY ONE when you click on a topic it takes you to the last post the same as it does when you click on the last post on the right side of the topic. I've left this feedback at least 3 times now. It's about time to fix this.
  17. You could at least tell us just what the fix was and finish the story.
  18. I have to wonder why they couldn't give us a better picture than they did. Makes me wonder just how good it really is. One picture or 5 it wouldn't have cost them a cent more to produce that webpage. The larger picture is also a joke. It may be a great product but before I spend $160+ I need to see a couple of closeup pictures.
  19. Ok I got it now. If you stated it before I forgot, senior moment. It is still nice that you are allowed to pick out your own company car. Most places is a take it or leave it or leave.
  20. Thats not it as it shows my home with a house icon.

    No more hybrid

Wasn't the battery still under warranty?
  22. I like my black and have had cars in the candy red too. Either would be nice. But you have been talking this for months now and with XMas coming I have to wonder with the 2 week shut downs you are now talking end of Feb. at least on an order. By the time you make up your mind you will be buying an almost year old car. They drop in value as soon as they leave the dealers lot but to wait this long you will take a huge hit over what you would have and you could have enjoyed the ride for the whole/most model year. It's getting to the point where you may as well wait till 2011 and order it this summer.
