The voluntary recall is 11S23 for Fusions and Milans with 17" steel wheels made 4/1/09-4/30/09 and 12/1/09-11/13/10. This is more about studs but might be useful .

I checked mine. The vinyl ends about 2" from the bottom just as the cover goes under the back. The pocket on the seat back extends to this area. Does yours have a pocket?

That's good info to have. Just wish it came in a small touch-up bottle.

Do a search, I believe there is a TSB on 2010 lugnuts.

Due to health reasons there are very few maintenance projects I can do. I decided, after three years of service,( only 15,000 miles) it was time to change the filter. Dealer did a quick job and gave me the old filter. Filter was about $24 and labor $15. I think, based on how dirty it was,it will need changing again in six years. .

Converting antenna to smaller/stylish one
FFHdriver replied to ShuckyD's topic in Accessories & Modifications
My VW EOS had the radio and satellite antennas built into the non metallic trunk lid and they worked fine. They weren't visible. -
I wonder how long starters are going to last with the stop/start feature ?

I've noticed on this web site since February, that scrolling takes 4-5 seconds before anything happens. Clicking on a post does nothing for 4-5 seconds too.. Doesn't happen on any other web sites I visit so it's not my computer. Anyone else notice this? I hope someone fixes this.

I drive about 5500 miles per year and change the oil once a year. I use Motorcraft synthetic and a Motorcraft filter. Most of my driving is short trips of 10-20 miles at speeds below 60 MPH. The extra cost of the synthetic over the blend is insignificant.

Accessory power by shifter not working where is fuse?
FFHdriver replied to sailcappy's topic in Accessories & Modifications
My owners manual shows fuse # 22 under the hood for the "power point". Look in the fuse list and at the fusebox diagram. -
At auto parts stores, I've seen caps that snap into the opening. Cut the old one off someway?

I use Motorcraft synthetic.

Saw on another forum a discussion about Warm Air Intakes. I had never heard of them before. Seems to help cars that have liquid fuel in the intake manifold runners which keeps them wet..

Haven't had this problem with AT&T and my Motorola phone.

Shouldn't an electric driven AC compressor have less effect on mileage than a belt driven one?.
-
Not for performance but for the look of the twin pipes. A one in- two out type muffler would be perfect. Like the Miata has.

Will it fit the 2010 Hybrid?

Try this. Put some silicone grease on the rubber gaskets on all the bulbs. Worked on a car I had ,stopped moisture in the housings.

2010 Fusion Hybrid. Battery problems?
FFHdriver replied to escapingwinter's topic in Ford Fusion Hybrid
I just checked mine, the CCA is 390. I also ckecked the water level in the cells for the first time since 8/'09 when I got the car. Five cells required no water. The cell nearest the negative terminal required two small spoonfuls of water. 13,500 miles on the car. -
2010 Fusion "sloshing" sound when first driven
FFHdriver replied to deo1929's topic in General Powertrain Discussion
With all the trouble some owners have had with this problem, ( complaints over a two year period ) I am surprised that only NONKO has had the "Ford fix" done. We all want to hear about the degas bottle, how many have gotten it, does it solve the problem as reported, what's your experience? Thanks. -
I don't see the rubber hood bumper that is mounted on the fender that my car has. Has it been removed to mount the strut?

Low air volume on the floor with floor-only vent selection.
FFHdriver replied to Just a Guy in Fla.'s topic in A.C. & Heating
With my HVAC on manual and the fan on HI I can tell no difference between the air volume in the floor only and dash vents only settings.
