I am no longer able to jack up my fusion on rear jack points. On one side the pinch weld rusted and is gone with deformation of the rusted body. On the other side the pinch weld is still there but body is rusted away. The jack mushes into body wrinkilng under the pressure instead of raising the car. I have significant corrosion/rust under and behind the rear door. Any ideas on alternate jack points for the rear?

Hi, Have a squealing noise intermitently coming from alternator area of engine bay. Tried to put a screwdriver on alternator to check sound but next to exhaust manifold so it is difficult. Wil be going to the dealer next week - any ideas - any others had this? I have a video/audio of this. How do I upload the .avi file? 2010 I4 6 speed manual

wow - I did the EXACT same thing. I had owned my Fusion for four days and didn't run the wipers because I didn't want to grind in the fine particles and instead waited until I got gas and scratched the heck out of it. I am not getting it replaced now though. I did it I'll live with it. Isn't too much of a bother unless you are looking for it.

Hi, 2010 S I4 manual did the same thing. Cranked and cranked and cranked and did not fire. Car had 400 miles on it. Did this twice. Then went to LOCK, then start again and started right up. Anyone know whats up? macpark
