  1. So just to update everyone: my car was in the shop for a little over a week and the fuel line was replaced. Looks like it was a bad sensor. My car runs so much better now, and it has not stalled on me since receiving it. I want to thank my regional Ford team that spoke on my behalf to the dealership and coordinated the expedited part, the repair time, and the car rental. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Ford went above and beyond with their customer service. After driving a Camaro for a week as my rental car- I am glad that I own a Fusion. It is a much better car in my opinion.
  2. Hi all, Just wanted to say that my car has stalled about 6 times in the last two days. I have yet to hear from my dealership about the order of a fuel line. This is absolutely absurd. I love my fusion titanium. However, I am starting to fall out of love with it. There are times when I am parked and the car stutters while in park, and it feels like its going to stall. Sometimes it does stall. It had stalled the other day while driving through an INTERSECTION! I am considering never buying a ford vehicle again after this experience. I have brought my car back to the dealership several times already with the same issue, and I always get the same story "Oh it is very hard to diagnose intermittent stalling." So in other words, I am stuck paying over $500 a month for a car that isn't even safe to drive! Now so far I will commend the FORD COMPANY for reaching out to me and attempting to intercede and speed up the process of the fuel line part ordering. I am very disappointed with my dealership. The customer service is poor. I will call on Monday to find out what the status is. I am sure there are ford representatives reading this forum. Thank you for what you are doing. I hope my problem is fixed because this will be my last ford vehicle purchase if this problem continues. I have leased 3 ford fusions so far. I am only 26. Therefore if Ford drops the ball, they are probably losing out on a few more car sales, nevermind the sales they'll lose out when I have to buy my kids their cars.
  3. Hello all, I am waiting for a fuel line to come in to the dealership. It has been over a month already since I brought my car in to get looked at it. They had to reorder the fuel line because the part that initially came in was broken. I did have another stalling problem the other day: I engaged the remote start (which has a 15 minute timer) and the car stalled after about 5 minutes of running. I noticed a clicking noise and it sounded like the engine just died, instead of shutting off because of the timer. This has happened already. I did call the dealership and they are still waiting for the part I love my car, but it is frustrating knowing that there is a problem that has yet to be fixed.
  4. Hi all, Sorry for not replying sooner. My car also had one of the recalls done. The computer was reprogrammed. Akirby, I am not sure if it was what you stated. It is one of the listed recalls for my vehicle.
  5. Hi Rachel, I am waiting for a fuel line to be ordered by my dealer. I am not sure if this will solve the problem until it is done.
  6. Posted Today, 09:58 AM Hi all, My 2013 fusion titanium has stalled at least 5 times within minutes of starting the car. I had it serviced back in March and the dealership took the car and drove it for a couple days. It did not stall while they were driving the car. Since then it has stalled twice in two days. I am actually sitting in the waiting area of my dealership's service department right now. There is a recall out regarding reprogramming of the computer that I was told may fix this problem. However, my gut tells me that I will be hVing this problem again. Can anyone help me diagnose this issue? My car stalls within minutes of starting it after 1. Putting it in reverse 2. Driving out of a driveway 3 and pulling onto a street. Without warning, i cannot give the car gas and the engine switches into run mode. No error codes came up last time I had the car serviced. When I start the car again, it takes longer than usual for the starter to get the engine going, as if the car ran out of gas. It then does a hard crank and the engine starts. I also changed gas brands several times As advised and I highly doubt this has anything to do with it

  8. Hey guys, SO once again my car stalled, this time while driving down the hill. I will be going to my dealer asap. They told me to come in next time it happens. LAst time they did hook a data device to my car and one of them drove it home for the night and drove it back the next morning. Of course, no issues were found. Here is a question, if this problem does not get fixed, can this car be a lemon? I do not want to be paying for a titanium if it isn't going to perform as expected. I also notice that my gas mileage is TERRIBLE. I average about 24 mpg only getting about 325 miles per tank of gas. I used to get close to 400 with my old fusions. I am very frustrated.
  9. My stalling has occurred during the following scenerios: While in reverse- the car jerked a little bit and then went into run mode. It had stalled Most recently it was while driving up a slight hill to pull out of my drive way and once I was in the street, the car stalled. I still haven't had the chance to get my car looked at. Unfortunately the dealer I bring my car to does not offer a courtesy vehicle, so I need to wait until I do not need my car for a couple days. Its very inconvenient.
  10. Again today my car stalled. I am going to have it looked at hopefully next week
  11. It was not the timer. It hasn't done it again. I keep filling up at the same spot.
  12. Hello, I have a 13 Fusion Titanium and recently had two stalling issues. The car stalled while the remote start was running and it also stalled while in reverse recently. No check engine light is on. I live in New Jersey and we recently had a couple weeks of extreme temps and a lot of snow. Could this be a reason for the stalling? Is it worth bringing it in to get checked out?
  13. Bought a 2013 Fusion Titanium FWD about 2 months ago. I recently noticed the issues being described in this forum: When I fill up on empty, I will only get about 11 gallons. I also had two occurrences where the gas pump would click off and the gas tank was not even close to being full. I called up the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. Regarding the gas tank capacity, I was told "There will always be a little bit of gas left in the car." Regarding the occurrences at the gas pump, I was told "It had to be the pump." Obviously this gentleman was no help, and I really do not want to make frequent trips to the pump if I do not need to. Can someone please provide me with a number so that I can call Ford and have this taken care of?
  14. I'm going to bring it in whenever I can. I am a bit disappointed. I had an I4 2008. Never had any issues with the tranny. I'm not familiar with what tranny slipping is though, but I notice that when I go from drive to reverse, the tranny shifts roughly.
