  1. I just think these look too much alike. Same for the bar grille style: I don't understand why Ford wants their various car lines to look so much alike. They also put the Edge grille on the Escape for 2017. Just sayin . . .
  2. Not quite. The new Platinum model also uses the mesh grille, but in chrome. I saw it yesterday at the auto show and did not like it. The car now says "Focus" to me instead of "Aston Martin". What a shame! IMHO Ford messed up on this freshening. Here is a pic of the Platinum I took yesterday. Here is the rollout pic from the auto show showing the base model retaining the bar grille.
  3. Now you need to turn that Lincoln cover into a Ford cover like I did!

    10 Fusion Sport

Some shots of my '10 Fusion Sport
  5. Here is a set of Ford Racing springs I had in my 2010 Fusion Sport. They should fit all 2006-12 Fusion, Milan and Zephyr/MK-Z. Ford Part No. M-5300-M -- still in the original box. One had some rust but I cleaned up and repainted. I'm looking for $120 + shpg (30 lb).
  6. Yes I have ads posted on CraigsList, Autotrader and Cars.com. Surprised there hasn't been more interest. If anyone knows someone who might be looking, please send them my way!
  7. STOCK SPRINGS PUT BACK IN CAR TO WIDEN APPEAL AND PRICE REDUCED TO $16,495 Will include lowering springs if buyer wants them.
  8. Price reduced to $16,975! Anyone interested in this beautiful Fusion?
  9. STOCK SPRINGS PUT BACK IN CAR TO WIDEN APPEAL AND PRICE REDUCED TO $15,975 Will include lowering springs if buyer wants them. Hate to say it but it's time for someone else to enjoy my tastefully modded 2010 Fusion Sport. I purchased this car new and have had all scheduled service done at the Ford dealer so the warranty is intact. The car has only 34,XXX miles and is in like-new condition. It gets great gas mileage, averaging around 23-4 mpg in the city and 27-8 on the highway. Factory options include Power moonroof, Sony 12-speaker premium audio system and Reverse sensing system. Long-time forum readers know that I had all the chrome on this car tinted when I first bought it. I recently had the opportunity to replace the grille and lower front surrounds with 2012 Sport OEM dark chrome pieces and did so. Other mods that make it stand out from ordinary Fusions include: - HID head lamps and fog lamps - Painted fog lamp bezels - Tinted front side markers and tail lamps - Custom engine cover with carbon fiber insert - Billet chrome oil fill and coolant bottle caps - LED lights in the dome, map, trunk and license plate lamps - Lowered 1.5" with Ford Racing springs (stock springs included if you prefer normal ride height) - Brushed stainless left foot rest - "3.5" Engine badging The present NADA book value is $18,900 without the mods. I am asking just $17,500 $16,495 including everything! See additional pictures here: http://s790.photobucket.com/user/autoxr1/slideshow/Fusion%20Sale
  10. SERIOUSLY? A 658 mile driving range makes you "severely disappointed"? You've got to be kidding. That works out to over 10 hours of driving time on the highway. You must have one heckuva big bladder if you can go that far between stops! :eek5:
  11. Not sure it's appropriate to call this "2013 Lincoln MKZ Officially Introduced". All that has been introduced so far is a concept of what the MKZ could look like, admittedly a thinly disguised one, but a concept nonetheless. We will need to wait awhile longer for the "Official Introduction" of the new MKZ.
  12. Getting back on topic, I see nobody has yet posted the link to the website Ford put up for the 2013 Fusion. You can see all of the exterior colors on the vehicle, and check out the powertrains, specs, and write-ups on new features such as the Lane-Keeping System and Active Park Assist. Also has info on the Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid (Energi) versions. Here it is: 2013 Fusion Website From this, I was able to determine that the model lineup will include S, SE, SE with Appearance Package, SE with Luxury Package, Titanium, Hybrid, and Energi. Rumor has it that an ST model will be announced later with a 2.5L EcoBoost V6. :happy feet: I also noticed that the Titanium will have an optional 19" wheel. Here's the wheel lineup: 2013 Fusion Standard and Available Wheel Choices • 16-inch steel wheels are standard on Fusion S. • 17-inch aluminum wheels are standard on Fusion SE. • 18-inch painted wheels are included in the Fusion SE Appearance Package. • 18-inch premium painted wheels are included in the Fusion SE Luxury Package. • 18-inch polished aluminum wheels are included in the Fusion SE Luxury Package. • 18-inch polished aluminum wheels are standard on Fusion Titanium. • 19-inch premium painted wheels are optional on Fusion Titanium. • Hybrid-unique 17-inch aluminum wheels are standard on Fusion HEV and Fusion Energi.
