  1. Hmm, somehow today the SYNC fuse #13 is listed in the manual. Can't imagine how it got there overnight... Didn't fix it anyway, but manually telling her to connect to the phone made her wake up. Thanks anyway if anybody wasted any time looking this up for me.
  2. I've read my owners manual fuse list 3 times, Googled, etc., to no avail. I know I had to just pull and re-insert a fuse to get SYNC alive again once after I ran the battery down. (Saw it on some forum, can't find it now.) Now I replaced my battery, and even though I used one of those radio setting keepers, SYNC is dead again. Which fuse number is it again? And I promise to write it in the manual this time! Thanks!
  3. Have you got a pic from further back? Get 'the big picture'?
  4. If it's anything like the 2010, the driving lights (when aimed properly) will make a HUGE difference in rain and wet road conditions. I put in Silverstars in my 2010 and I think they already come with them ,as there was no really noticable difference. I wish I did them one at a time just to see, but it wasn't like, 'Wow!' or anything. Of course that's with a 2010 so it might be another story with your 07. Good luck! http://www.fordfusionforum.com/index.php?/topic/2725-drivingfog-lights/page__p__23009__hl__%2Breach+%2Bplastic__fromsearch__1&do=findComment&comment=23009
  5. I had a (I guess) similar noise in my 2010 I4 FWD. Turned out to be the idler pulley for the belt.
  6. Do you reset the MPG meter often? I reset it each time I fill up, and it can make radical swings early on. Like it'll be 10 MPG from the station up the hill to home, but can be over 30MPG when I get to work the next day. Maybe it got reset and it's going from 0?
  7. I just turned off my Sync ringer. When I get a call, whatever I'm listening to stops, and my phone does the ringing. That Sync ringer scared me!
  8. Joel hasn't checked back since the initial post. Or at least he/she hasn't logged in since then. Conflicting info, never checking back. Come to your own conclusion, but I've seen enough that I doubt that the post is genuine.
  9. Thanks, DCSport. And just to clarify, I hope I'm not just a hater. I love technology, and when things work, I like them. But I see too many people mis-use HID's or think that putting HID's on their sh*tbox 1983 Nissan box-mobile thinking it becomes a race car... I also hate to see people get taken by BS things like computer chips that'll double your mileage and triple your horsepower. Guess I'm just a crusty old fart now, but I try to remember I was young once. Now all you dang kids get off my lawn!
  10. I found a link long ago about how foglights are supposed to work. Adjusted them so they point straight ahead to project the beam below the 18" the fog should stay above the ground. It said fog is usually 12" to 18" off the ground, so if your fog lights are under it and pointed straight ahead, it should light up the road far ahead under the fog. If they're pointed too high, you'll just be blinding yourself lighting up the fog. Now they're great for fog and in the rain. I'm a self-admitted hater, and no one want's to hear it, so beyond that tip and the link, I'll save my comments about HID's and using fog lights when it's not foggy. Sorry... at least I admit it. Do fog lights work?
  11. Were you aware of the subframe cracking in the earlier Fusions? Cracking welds in subframe
  12. I doubt they'll give warranty work on brake pads. Though if they are wearing out prematurely, I think they should.
