  1. Congrats. I replaced all of the lights on mine with LEDs for a classy, yet modern look. A simple (except for the puddle lamps - they took some time) and inexpensive upgrade.
  2. Glad I could help. I'm replacing mine this afteroon. Just out of curiosity, what is your source for the bulbs? I used v-leds.com.
  3. Follow this link. I'm going to try it myself this weekend. http://www.fordfusio...?topic=188485.0
  4. My dad drove Fords back in the fifties and sixties. Then he went to European makes. I drove Hondas myself for thirty-five years. They were the car to beat. I test drove the 2010 Mazda 6, Nissan Maxima, Honda Accord, and Hyundai Sonata, and I am thrilled with my 2010 SEL. You won't regret getting a Fusion.
  5. Welcome and gook luck with it. I love my '10 SEL.
  6. Most awesome about my 2010 SEL is the AWD. We had nine back to back snowstorms right after Christmas, and not one of them was a match for my AWD. Other plusses: comfy heated seats, cavernous trunk, plush ride, classy looks (heads turn), and a dream to handle. As for problems, I haven't had one. I'd say go for it.
  7. I ran E85 in my 2010 SEL AWD for two tankfulls. My mileage dropped by approximatey 25% which immediately made it a bad choice economically. The E85 would have had to be 25% cheaper than gasoline just to break even. Also I felt the car was less responsive and ran more noisily with the E85. There was also a noticeable smell of alcohol when the car was idling or when I pulled into the garage and shut the car off. Political and environmental issues aside, since then I just don't see any reason to use E85.
  8. I'm not trying to be cute, but just give your daughter a nice thick blanket for the back seat. In the wintertime it's always wise to have one or two in the car anyway in case of an emergency. I guarantee your daughter will be warmer back there than you are up front.
  9. There's no solution. Sirius compresses the sound so much that it loses most of its distinctive qualities. Any other source will always sound better. Use it until your subscription runs out. You might decide that the offerings outweigh the poorer quality. Then again you might not. Once you have to pay for it, It is a lot of money for substandard sound.
  10. I had some issues when I purchased my 2010. Solution: Write some letters. Stress that what has happened to you is just bad business for Ford. Worked like a charm for me. Mr. Alan Mulally, President Ford Motor Company PO Box 685 Dearborn, MI 48126-685 Mr James D. Farley Ford Motor Company PO Box 685 Dearborn, MI 48126-685 Mr. Darryl B. Hazel Ford Motor Company Customer RelationshipCenter PO Box 6248 Dearborn, MI 48126 I believe Farley is Chairman of the Board of Directors. Good Luck.

  12. Congratulations on the new car. In my experience, undercoating, paint sealant, and other "dealer prep" type options are both unnecessary and overpriced. Just another way for the dealer to take your money. A new car already has what it needs to protect it from the elements unless you plan to drive and keep it in extreme environments. Save your money and enjoy the car.
