  1. That's a terrible idea. If you want it lower, bag it. Plenty of members have bagged their Fusions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DT7_MnjAbkQ
  2. Just an opinion here, but I would only put an exhaust system on an 8 cylinder engine, you just cant replicate that sound with a 4 or 6 cylinder. I have a Borla cat back on my V8 truck, and it sounds absolutely amazing. But when other forum members put a similar exhaust on their V6 (same as mine) truck, it doesn't even compare, it's not even in the same league.
  3. Is it turning over, or nothing at all? The more details, the better we can assist you. I'd suggest checking all of the fuses first.
  4. I figured a few of us here can use this, and this works for ANY vehicle, NOT only Ford /Lincoln vehicles. Claim this by June 30th, and you can use it at a later date. My truck is overdue for an oil change, I'll definitely go this month. Pass the info on. Front-line and essential workers can get The Works, , courtesy of FordPass Rewards. The Works* includes a Synthetic Blend Oil Change, Tire Rotation, Vehicle Checkup and more, at participating Ford dealerships and Quick Lane® Tire & Auto Center locations. A lot of jobs qualify for this offer, see the details HERE.
  5. The ride was great, just a bit tighter than the stock ride, only a slight roll in the curves compared with stock. The car felt amazing after the new springs were installed, which were Ford Racing Springs.
  6. I had the clear side markers on my Fusion since 2010 with amber LED bulb. No issues driving in Jersey with them at all. Pictured below with a 1 1/2" drop, with 18s, 20s would be rough with NJ roads. Welcome aboard.
  7. Yes your 'stock tune' is on the SCT tuner, simply choose to 'Reload Stock Tune' (Or similar wording on the device.). It doesn't matter it you return to stock tune before or after CAI removal. And there is no need to hook the tuner up to a computer at all.
  8. I would definitely choose your Sport out of the three. Nice picture.
  9. One of the recalls is for the 13-16 Fusion. Safety recall for select 2013-16 Fusion vehicles equipped with 2.5-liter engine for shifter cable bushing issue Ford is issuing a safety recall for select 2013-16 Fusion vehicles with 2.5-liter engines for a shifter cable bushing issue. On affected vehicles, the bushing that attaches the shifter cable may degrade and detach from the transmission. A shifter cable that detaches from the transmission may allow the transmission to be in a gear state different from the gearshift position selected by the driver. The condition could allow the driver to move the shift lever to park and remove the ignition key while the transmission may not be in park, with no warning message or audible chime. If the parking brake is not applied, a shifter cable that detaches from the transmission could result in unintended vehicle movement, increasing the risk of injury or crash. Ford is aware of three reports alleging property damage and one report alleging an injury potentially related to this condition. This action affects approximately 270,000 vehicles in North America, including 259,182 in the United States and federalized territories, 10,282 in Canada and 3,765 in Mexico. Affected vehicles include 2013-16 Fusion 2.5-liter engine-equipped vehicles not in the original safety recall 18S20 built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant, April 12, 2013 to Feb. 29, 2016 and at Hermosillo Assembly Plant, Feb. 9, 2012 to April 4, 2016. The root cause and final service repair are in the process of being confirmed. Dealers and vehicle owners will be instructed to always use the parking brake, and they will be notified when the final remedy is available. The Ford reference number for this recall is 19S16.
  10. Most likely a wheel speed sensor. You'll need to connect to an advanced code reader that can read ABS codes.
  11. Look at the first post on the Youtube page, he gave an update that says a new battery fixed the issue. So get a new battery...
  12. The 2019 MKZ has Sync 3.0, version 3.3. I had a 2019 MKZ recently for a few days, and did not notice any differences that our Sync 3.0 version, other than a choice of background color, two shades of two colors. Yes, two shades of the color we now have, and two shades of a light blue. I remember the lane keeping system remained the same as our 18s, but I did play around with it, and did not notice any other differences. The dealer said that my system had no available updates, so I assume the 3.3 update is not in our future. I set the screen to one of the blue shades below.
  13. Why don't you guys just take a dump on this For Sale thread....Jeez.
  14. Well, shipping is not cheap, the lowest cost is $57 via UPS. USPS and Fedex were both a few dollars more. I'm surprised on the shipping charge, the box is not heavy, but large (32x22x5). I'll knock off a little, and ship it for $130, Cover and bolts.
  15. The section of the door sill should simply be removed by prying it up. The section will be held in with clips on each end, and possibly in the middle area too. It will be the whole section that it is attached to, not only the center part that says Fusion. Use interior trim removal tools to avoid damaging (scratching) the plastic piece. Removal will be similar, or exactly, like in the beginning of this video below. You will only need to remove that one piece.
  16. Up for sale are Steeda CAI (06-09 3.0), Engine Cover (06-09 3.0), and MGP Caliper covers. Parts are available for pickup in northeast NJ area, otherwise shipping charges will be added. All items listed are in very good condition. *** Also for sale is an unlocked SCT X3 3015 programmer posted in this thread. *** Steeda CAI, for 2006-2009 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan equipped with a 3.0 V6 engine. I will also include a Steeda cleaning and Blue Oil kit. The CAI was hosed off, so it needs to be oiled before use. $150 - plus shipping. 3.0 Engine cover for 06-09 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan. The necessary four mounting bolts will be included. $85 - plus shipping. MGP Caliper covers, they were listed for 2010-2012 Ford Fusion Sport, but they fit 2006-2012 Ford Fusions and Mercury Milans fine. You need to have at least 18" wheels to be able to fit the covers. $50 - plus shipping.
  17. Price dropped to $175 shipped to the lower 48.
  18. If you can get your hands on an advanced code reader (not a dealer tool), you can read the code to find the source of the error code. You can reset the code too, and it may not come back if you're lucky. There could a number of causes for your error code, none of us can diagnose it from our chairs. Any mechanic (backyard /weekend mechanics too) will have the advanced code reader, which reads & resets ABS and SRS codes, I even have one.
  19. It's common with many manufacturers heated seats. A wire has broken or burnt through in most likely the seat pad. Read this thread.
  20. Also, are you using an OEM resistor?
