  1. Cracked wires is not a common issue with these cars, not at all. I would replace any damaged wire for sure.
  2. Check out this (extremely) long thread, maybe someone posted similar symptoms as yours. 2010 Fusion "sloshing" sound when first driven
  3. That's a nice setup, and much better than just floating around the trunk or cabin. And best of luck on the career choice.
  4. I know one forum member ran 235/50/18 tires, and he said that they BARELY cleared the control arm, so I don't think they'll fit. But, you could always mount one tire and test fit it to be sure though.
  5. The second link above does have 10-12 Fusion in the drop down menu. I added it to the card no problem.
  6. Some forum members have used emblem overlays, which are simply a sticker to put over the 'Blue Oval'. Here are two links to check out: http://www.bocadecals.com/ http://emblemoverlays.com/products/ford-emblem-overlay-set And Images here.
  7. That's a lot of tire for the Fusion, like stated above, clearance may be an issue.
  8. You will need to add a resistor to prevent the rapid blinking, or Hyperflash as it is called, of the brake light. The same thing would happen when replacing the front turn signal with an LED bulb.
  9. I believe that Steeda and H&R are your only two options for the AWD Fusion: Go to SteedaFusion website and send an email to verify that they will fit the AWD model. H&R Springs have two sets of springs available, part # 51676 is for front wheel drive and 51676-2 is for all wheel drive models. Double check with H&R to be certain though.
  10. I would put the old bulbs back in and see if the issue persists.
  11. You need two keys to program additional keys yourself. So the choice is either the dealer, or some locksmiths can add the second key.
  12. I would say let the dealer fix it, while you still have a warranty.
  13. I think the only way to get the Sony system in 2012 was with the 'Moon & Tune Package' (Equipment Group 301A). So I'm thinking if it has the moonroof, the Sony system was included in that package. I don't think that the moonroof was available without the Sony system in 2012. Available Equipment Groups Equipment Group 301A – Moon & Tune Package includes power tilt and-slide moonroof, and Sony® Audio System with DAEP 5.1 Surround Sound, AM/FM stereo/single-CD player, MP3 capability, 12 speakers and 390 watts. Of course, I may be wrong here...
  14. If you have the VIN, you can generate the original window sticker stating exactly how the Fusion was equipped, including what audio system it has. Enter the vehicle VIN on the page HERE.
  15. You cannot simply swap the Auto Climate Control in for it to be functional. There is much more to the system than just the switch. This has been asked before, and much more than once. http://www.fordfusionforum.com/topic/7210-upgrade-climate-controls/
  16. Google the following phrase, and there are plenty of pictures in the thread. Post pictures of your drop - Comments will be deleted
  17. Discounttiredirect is another great site to buy tires and wheels. I've picked up my last 3 set of tires from them, and am extremely happy with their service. Very friendly and helpful when you call them.
  18. Check #6. The Owners Manual can be found here, as a PDF.
  19. I find it extremely hard to believe that they cannot get the injectors quickly. Ford has sold a ton of the newer Fusions, I would be calling everyone up the chain to get my car back on the road.
  20. Absolutely, the stock tires will fit on perfectly.
  21. Good luck finding a B&M store with all paint colors from all vehicle manufacturers, that's just not going to happen. I've used both Imatchpaint and Automotivetouchup with good matching paint results.
  22. I've seen them on some of the Fusions on the forums, and IIRC, they did not fit perfectly like an OEM light. I could be remembering that wrong, so don't take what I said to rule them out. They do look good though. Check out this thread, I think they are the same headlights.
  23. Quite a few members have Mustang wheels on their Fusions, they fit well and look good. For posting photos, most of us use Photobucket, which shows nice large pictures in the threads.
  24. This page shows it is the same. Not positive that it is though. But I found Part # 9E5Z7213A for the Sport. Like Here. <--- Usually if you call them to order, they will verify that it is the correct part number using your VIN. Or walk into the parts department (Not the Service Department) in any local Ford dealer and inquire, the price may be the same as my link since you won't be charged shipping. If you look on the picture below of mine, it does have that side button, which is an overdrive button, but I'm not sure how selectshift differs from mine. The button does nothing on mine, as my original shifter did not have an overdrive button on it at all. I simply cut the wires and have no use for the button.
  25. It's really simple. I swapped a Taurus/Sable shifter to replace my original style shifter, like in the first picture in the link below. I forgot the cost, but it was nowhere near $175, more like under $20. (Part # 8G1Z-7213-A) Follow the this link for instructions. Installed
