  1. Hi, I have a 2010 FFH with 150K. How is everyone's upper O2 sensor working? Does it make sense to change it out as a preventative maintenance measure or is it better to let well enough alone? And only fix it if it breaks? As they age does it impact fuel economy? I understand that the lower O2 sensor works well and rarely breaks. Thanks for your thoughts.
  2. Just an FYI for those of you out there having to replace a 2006-12 FF Lower Control Arm in the future. If you find yourself having gotten the control arm ball joint removed from the steering knuckle (a major PITA), but also finding that the steering knuckle insert is still attached to the ball joint and you can't get it off. Please be aware that Moog makes both steering knuckle insert parts. So you can buy them without having to buy the entire $250+ steering knuckle. The dealerships and some auto parts stores don't sell the Moog part and want you to buy the entire steering knuckle. But shop around. The Moog part numbers are K150403 (forward) and K150349 (rear). Best of Luck.
  3. Just out of curiosity, how many of you out there when replacing FF struts, shocks, control arms, etc... replace all the attachment bolts as a matter of course? Or do you only replace them if they're rusted or stripped? ALLDATA seems to recommend replacing all of the nuts, washers, and bolts along the way. But the cost can add up. Where do most of you buy the fastening hardware, dealership, online store, local parts store? Best,
  4. Are they Monroe part #272596? When did you buy them? How do I contact you?
  5. Hi, my FFH mpg has declined this winter from its usual 36 mpg to 31-32mpg. No idiot lights illuminated. Any ideas what may be causing the lower MPG? The car has 120k mileage. Thanks,
  6. Anyone one come across a rewiring/reprograming aftermarket option so that the seat heater will come on with the Series 100 remote start?
  7. Hi, I have a factory installed remote start with my FFH. Does anyone know if it's possible to have the drivers seat heater turn on with the remote start? If you turn off the car with the cabin heater and seat heater on. Then restart the car via the remote, only the cabin heater comes on. Is there a work around? Thanks
  8. Any one know if there is a cabin air filter in the FFH? The owners manual references it, but there's no mileage change out times nor description of how to change it out? Thanks
