    3.0 spark plugs

Does anyone know what kind of spark plugs i should use in my 3.0 fusion? It has the SCT Stratagy tune with 93 octane and a steeda CAI. What would be the best plugs for this? Also has Magnaflow cat back exhaust.
  2. I have 2009 Fusion with the 6 speaker system. 2 in each front door and one in each rear door. In the trunk you can see spots where speaker can be mounted in the rear under the rear window. I got some Sony 3 way speakers that will fit in those spots but I don't see any wireing that can be connected to those speakers. My question is, does anyone know if there is some wireing hidden somewhere in there to hook up speakers in the rear window? Or would I have to run new wireing to that spot? If I have to run new wireing to those speakers, where would I tap into the current system? I really don't want to disassemble the door panels and pull up seats or any molding to do this if I dont have to. Any advice or an easier way to do this? Has anybody out there done this and know an easy way to do it? Any help would be appreciated.

    No heat

how do you burp the cooling system?

    No heat

it is cold here this today. about 15f. the engine temp gage is in the normal range as usual. could it be the thermostat stuck open? would a stuck thermostat make the temp gage read different? the car is out of warranty because of the 50,000 miles. i do have it scheduled at ford for wednesday but im afraid of the cost to repair. just hope it has nothing to do with the auto climate control. im assuming it has to do with the flow of the coolant because at higher rpm there is heat but when at a stop light or driving in slow traffic it goes cold.

    No heat

2009 Fusion 3.0 with automatic climate control. Problem is when idleing there is no heat. When I give the engine some revs it starts to blow heat but when it goes back to idle, the air goes cold again. The coolant tank is full and there are no coolant leaks. What could be the problem?
  6. no the brakes haven't been serviced. they are still the original brakes. there is still a good amount of pad left also
  7. I have a 2009 SEL V6. Lately I have noticed when I back out of a parking stall and touch the brakes, there is a pop from the right front. When I go forward then touch the brakes it pops again. It wont do it again until I reverse and touch the brakes. It sounds like there is some kind of slack in the brakes but I cant see any problems. Any one else have the problem? What could it be? The brake pads are fine and nothing seems worn out. Just stumped.
  8. thank you desert fusion for that advice. i did exactly like you said and it came out easily. i drove the fusion for the first time at night without the housing and it did help with the rearview mirror. it actually dims now and i dont have to turn it up from being blinded!!
  9. is there an easy way of removing the high mount brake lamp housing from the package tray? im getting a spoiler installed and it has the brake lamp on it and i dont want the original in the rear window. and i think maybe the auto dimming rear view mirror will work better with that thing gone. thanks for any advice
  10. ive had my fusion for a 2 weeks now. i absolutly love the car. its a 2009 SEL V6. its an off lease with pretty close to 20,000 miles.. here is my issue. the car rides smooth and tracks straight but sometimes when i hit bumps in the highway it feels as if the rear end wants to move to the side. the faster i drive it seems the worse it is. is this normal? i came from a 2002 Escape and the ride was way harsh. am i just not used to this? is this something that needs attention? i dont want to run back to the dealer over nothing. i hope nothing is wrong with the car...any ideas?
