Thank you. I fall under the normal driving category. I will have it done near 60,000 miles. Let me ask this question, does the Fusion Sport have a fuel filter outside of the fuel tank? One dealership said I was due for the service, while others said the filter is not to be serviced unless there is an issue.

Hello! Have a 2010 Ford Fusion Sport. I have 30,000 miles on it. According to the dealership, the car is due for a transmission fluid change. I took a look at the owners service manual online, and the tranny doesn't get touched until 150,000 miles. I have read some postings and people do have the service at 30,000. With the transmission I have (automatic), should I have this service performed? Thanks!

Hey guys! Got a 2010 Fusion Sport. I've installed HIDs, which work great. Don't like when I disable the remote door locks/alarm, and the headlights turn on. Is there a way to disable the headlights when using the remote door lights Thanks.

4300K is OEM. Pure white light.

Is there anyway to disable the headlights, not the marker lights, when i unlock the car with the keyless entry? 2010 Fusion Sport. Thanks!

Have a 2010 Fusion Sport. The stereo sounds good, but can the amps be turned up a bit? I drove a Flew the other day and the Sony system in there makes mine sound bad. What's the deal? Any thoughts?

ok, I won't do anything. I just wanted to throw it out there. While I was getting my headliner replaced, the dealership, under warranty, provided me with a rental (Ford Flex), and it had HIDs. I had noticed the directional lights flashed or stayed on when the car was unlocked with the keyless remote. I'm telling you, I had an '07 Fusion SEL and didn't have any issues. That was a lease. I decided to purchase the Sport model and I have issues. Thank goodness the drive train is strong as an ox.

Well, I just picked up my Fusion Sport from the dealership because my headliner had to get replaced. I know what you're thinking, why? Well, I guess it was one of those freak things where a terrible rattle started in the ceiling and got worse. For a car that is one year old, unacceptable! Anywa, the noise is gone, I have a new headliner, and all is quiet, the way it should be. I installed HIDs awhile ago and I was wondering if the headlights can be turned off and the yellow markers (directional lights) be utilized instead when I unlock the car with the keyless remote? The reason I am asking, I don't want the HIDs powering up each time I unlock the car with the keyless remote. I'm trying to be proactive. Any thoughts on this one?

Have a 2010 Sport with 15,000 miles. A rattle started and it was coming from the headliner. Well, after visiting the dealership and finding out that there are magnets and velcro that holds some things together, Ford is replacing the entire headliner. Not sure of this is going to be a problem, but the noise is a joke.

Thanks for the heads up. I will try it myself over the weekend and see how far I get. If I can do it myself, I will save about $50. I will let you know how I did.

You're right. I have experienced the sun visor rattle in the past. I can pinpoint where the noise is coming from and it is the ceiling. I hate rattles in a new car. Not acceptable.

2010 Fusion Sport: At 15,000 miles, I now have a very annoying rattle coming from the ceiling. It is bothering me! The car is going back to the dealer next week. I told them to hold the car until it is found and corrected. I do have a sunroof, so I am sure it is something to do with that. It is not the sunroof sliding door. Anyone else have this issue?

I have a 2010 Fusion Sport and I have one. The dealer is replacing the filter next week (15,000 miles). I would do it myself, but I know it won't be as easy as the picture above.
