  1. 2010 FFH is throwing Code: C0022 - Brake Booster Solenoid, Additional Fault Symptom (:14): - Circuit Short To Ground Or Open, in Forscan. Power brakes are out, Advancetrak is off, no regenerative braking. The hydraulic brakes work as expected. Have a new 12v battery, all fuses are good. My son drives the car, and noticed when the issue first happened the brake fluid reservoir was low. He added fluid and all was well for about a week. Reservoir hasn't dipped at all. Don't now if that is related or not to the C0022 fault. Code won't clear. Any ideas on how to approach? Replacing the brake booster looks like a PITA At 130K miles, this is my first real issue (other than resetting the battery date and replacing a wheel bearing). HELP!
  2. On my 2010 Fusion Hybrid, the original Ford single direction remote start is not functioning - it cycles up and I get two beeps. If it is the hood sensors, could it be the plunger switch on the drivers side of the engine bay, or the tilt switch under the hood, or both? I've ordered a new lunger switch ($10 online) and with the tilt switch, I can hear something rolling/rattling inside (are these ball bearing switches)? I do not know how to check the brake sensors/inputs to determine if that is the issue. Could there be another issue that is common that is not the remote? Thoughts? I
  3. Help - on my 2010 Fusion Hybrid, with the Ford one direction remote system, getting two beeps and it won't work. Door sensors are all good - it's likely the hood tilt sensor? Does this have a bearing in it? I can hear something moving in it. From the discussion above, can I just cut out the wires? If so, would I need to ground one, attach together?
  4. Did this yesterday - my kid's been driving the car for a year, and didn't realize the system has changed. He and I are glad it's back to normal.
  5. Just traded in an 03 Civic Hybrid for the 2010 Fusion Hybrid. Civic had 190K miles and still acheived 45 mpg regularly. The battery certainly degraded some, but had no significant impact on the car's performance.
