  1. Thanks Chris ....... where did you purchase yours from and did you have to get the pats kit as well ?
  2. how hard was the installation to do ? did you have to cut any wires ? and lastly how long did it take ?
  3. I was cleaning the carpet and saw that the passenger side seat has allen/star bolts that hold the seat frame to the mounting bracket, and looks like an extra hole to move the seat back on the frame....... has anyone changed the bolt hole monnts on the drivers side for that extra bit of leg room ? highway
  4. I use the zaino AIO/Z2. One thing i do is after the wash I blow off the car with my leaf blower, especially the crook/crannies around the lights, mirrors etc... where they water always drip after you dry it.. I then i run over it with an absorber
  5. one other little tip. After you machine wash the towels that you use for the dash, do not dry them all the way in the clothes dryer. dry them about half way and hang out to dry. This helps reduce static electricity and helps to keep from attracting dust on the dash . highway
  6. I have a good friend that ran an upholstery shop and he wouldn't let a bottle of armor all in his shop, He always said it clogged up the pores in the material. I use zaino leather conditioner or meguires.
  7. Thanks, I'll probably go the paint route. The last car I had was green and i did the calipers in green metalic pearl, after paint I cleared them with clear engine enamel. One old hot rodders trick I picked up over the years is aluminun foil to mask off bolts. bolt heads, hoses, etc... as it will mold exactly to the piece. ...I have a white fusion and i'm thinking maybe red calipers ?
  8. can some of you post up some pics of white fusion with painted calipers :party2: thanks, highway
  9. thanks for the pics bigb252 and that indeed looks great , our mirror mounts look different tho, mine is a narrow bar about 1" wide that goes from the top of windshiel down about 4 inches highway
  10. demeta around here (kY) the going rate is $139.99 + $19.99 for the eyebrow, i had %20 all the way around.
  11. I did a search and didn't see an answer. To those that have had the windows tinted....... I had mine tinted today and the shop said they couldn't put a strip on top of the front windshield because they couldn't get the rear view mirror off, has any one been able to have theirs done and if so how did they go about it ? thanks, highway
  12. Andre, Never saw that until you pointed it out thanks ... that may have been the problem as i could not get it to do it again it yesterday. highway
  13. hey thanks for the answers, yeah it is still under warranty (2008), i'm gonna try to get it to do it again just to make sure it wasn't user error and if it does i'll take in to the dealer for repair. In the back of my mind i was wondering if was some type of new safety feature. thanks again, highway
