  1. Cant remember now what brand it is. Not a well known one. works excellent. The wiring for this sytem actually connects directly to the actual wiring harness for my 06 fusion. Dont want to cut any wires if need be. Moe1955
  2. Hi Guys; Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. In reference to my problem with the battery drain. Took it to the dealership and found out it was my after market in-dash nav system. Was drawing 6 amps continuously. Took it out and replaced it with the original radio and do not have any other problems. Now my question is how can I reinstall my nav system and have it not use so much power. any ideas. appreciate your input. Moe1955
  3. Thanks for your input. All wires have been checked everything is in good condition. Also forgot to mention, that we found that the trunk light was staying on also. Looks like I take a trip to the dealer. (sigh)
  4. Hi All; First let me say this forum is great lots of good info. Now to my problem. Initially had a problem with battery being competely dead after sitting for 2 days. Replaced the battery and all was fine until a couple of days ago. Now the battery will not hold a charge for 2 hours. Today took it to a mechanic and found out there is a big draw from fuse # 19 which is for the headlights etc. He thinks I may have to replace the Body Control Module. Has anyone had this problem and if so what was the fix. By the way it is a 2006 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0L. I hope someone can help me.
  5. Hopefully someone can put me in the right direction. I just installed a nav system in my fusion, works great, only problem is I have not hooked up the steering wheel radio controls as I don't know which wires to use for tyhe steering ctrls. It is marked on the nav system but I am not sure which ones are from the steering. Can anyone help me please
