I'm getting ready to sell my fusion and i shampooed the carpets. After I was done the radio display would not turn on. I checked the fuses under the driver side and everything looked fine. Anyone else have this issue or any idea how I can fix it? The radio still works and can play music/connect to bluetooth etc.

I have a 2010 sport with the upgraded moon and tune package. On the stereo face plate I can see things for the current temp and the temp inside, but they do not show on my car. Is this correct or am I missing something? Im thinking this is incorrect cause the only other option you can get is the navigation system which doesnt use the same stereo faceplate unless they put this stereo in a bunch of cars and just disable certain options...any help would be greatly appreciated

Heres my usual regimen: Use general soap from the autostore and water wash it panel by panel and try to keep the car wet during the whole process After the car is washed i do the wheels the key and I think this rerally works is to use wax as you dry when i dry the car i spray this on each panel and wipe it down with a regular cotton towel(microfiber will work better) after i use black magic on the tires..they have this deodoerant stick looking think for tires that works great the wax as you dry is amazimg, it give it that shine you want and you will notice when it rains the water beads right off...I highly recommend it

Sandisk cruszer come with pre-installed bloatware(all the stuff that pops up when you plug it in), if you dont reformat it, sync wont be able to recognize it. I just dragged and dropped the mp3s into the drive, and NTFS is the standard windows file system now, infact if your usb stick isnt formatted with either one of those, it wont work on your windows system at all. I would assume sync is able to recognize NTFS since it is newer but there is a possibility it will recognize FAT32. Anyways I tried my sisters ipod and it worked fine...ill just keep troubleshooting...

I have some mp3s on a usb stick and every time I plug it in it waits a minute and then doesnt work. I just have the mp3s on there, do i not have the drive formatted right or something? its NTFS, im thinking about tryingFAT32 anyone else have this problem? is it the wrong file format?

I have a 2010 fusion sport, i was wondering if there is anyway to reprogram the controls on the steering wheel. When i am flipping through the stations the arrow buttons go through only my favorite stations or i can hold it down to go through the stations fast, but I wanted it to go through each station one by one everytime I hit the button, is there anyway to do that?

Just wanted to followup...first i cleaned around it, then i heated it up with a hair dryer for like a min and slowly took some dental floss underneath it it in a slow sawing motion. I was left with a lot of the sticky backing left thought that i slowly peeled off with my fingers. I cleaned it up with some goo gone and washed the excess off with water and the paint and clear coat wasnt damaged at all. If i had any advice it would be when you take the floss through it, try to stay as close to the body as you can so your not left with alot of excess of the backing. I also could have probably heated the edges a little more so it would have been more tender but thanks for all your help!!

I recently purchased a 2010 fusion sport...the problem is the ugly badge the dealer put on the back. I want to take it off, I have been reading that a using a hair dryer to heat it up for a little , then running dental floss under it will take it right off. I have the black tuxedo paint so Im worried about messing it up and also if there is a difference in tone from it being in the sunlight. has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks so much for the quick response and help!! My sync wasnt working, I just pulled the fuse and put it back in, started it up and it was working. For anyone else having trouble heres some more hints: Open the driverside door Sit outside of the car put a flashlight inside and angle it towards the upper left part under your dash it is not visible from the outside, the fuse box is pretty much located behind where the dimming controls are youll pretty much only be able to stick your head and one arm in there to look around after that just look for the fuse box cover that droids1 posted squeeze the two clips on the sides of the cover to release it and if you havent pulled a fuse before: there are white clips on the inside of the fuse cover they kinda resemble alligator clips place them around the fuse you want and pull it out hope this helps everyone, its not very intuitive and thanks again to droids1!!
