  1. I want to add some extra interior lights, but I only want them to come on when the doors are open. Like the dome lights do. And turn off when the dome lights turn off. How would I wire these up? I've tried add-a-circuits but I cant find a fuse that operatires like this. Can someone point me in the right direction here? I'd prefer a fuse that I can tap into, but I"m not sure if that's possible.
  2. I think some cars look great with a matte finish. Some cars as in, a Lamborghini.
  3. I don't like the direction Ford is going with their new cars. I've always prefered hard lines and have generally hated all these smooth, spaceship looking blobs. That's what drew me to the 2010 fusion. It's headlights and grille consist of sharp angles and it just looks mean.
  4. They were about $800. I got them from discount tire but I had to have them special ordered.
  5. I'd take it to the dealer right away. If you bought it last week and it's peeling, not scraped, then they'll most likely just give you a new one. I would try any home remedies or anything. And you'd know if you scraped it, it's very easy to tell. I scraped mine up against a curb and there's no mistaking it.
  6. Got some new wheels for my Fusion today. TSW Vortex. 17x8. Not Chrome. Better pictures in the future.
  7. I don't know who would actually install it for you but it wouldn't be to hard to do it yourself. They can look really tacky. IMO they only look decent on a black or white car. And it's pushing the "ricer" look if you do it on a fusion.
  8. I personally wouldn't go with them. I try to stay away from the Discount tire/ tirerack/ wheelfire brands. Watch out for companies that produce many many different models of wheels. Like Rota. However a guy at tirerack said Drag wheels were pretty decent. I'd just google something like "drag wheels broken" and see how many hits about shattered Drag wheels you get.

    Dash Cleaner

Avoid anything Armorall. I used their interior cleaner on my last car. Left oily residue for months!
  10. Has anyone tried this? I was at Autozone the other day getting some cleaning supplies and I saw parts to build your own CAI. They had a main tube, MAF sensor mount, different cone filters, and various elbows for building your own. It was all aluminum so I doubt it actually cools the air, but it would allow for larger intake and maybe a nice sound. It was all Spectre parts.Adapters, hoses, and they had the actual cone filters but I couldn't find them on the website. What do you guys thing? It's pretty inexpensive and it'd at least be some better.
  11. I'm sure your local ford dealership can get one for you.
  12. I installed HIDs a few months ago. The rubber dust boots didn't fit back on because of the wires hanging out and the bulb stuck out too far. So I left the driver one off and on the passenger side I cut a hole for the wires, it's still a big hole so I don't think it's very air tight anymore. They've been absolutely no problem until this week. While washing my car the other day (it was 60 degrees) I decided to do the same thing to the driver one that I did to the passenger one a few months ago. The instant I did that the lens started fogging. So I used a hair dryer and got the fog out but it came back within 10 minutes. I took the dust cap off and used the hair dryer and it went away and stayed away. Note that about half the lens was fogging up. But now it's been raining a lot and after driving to go eat the driver side is almost completely fogged. I don't know what the deal is. It wasn't doing this for a few months after installing my HIDS. I understand why it might have after putting the dust cap back on but I've taken it off now. Shouldn't it return to it's working state like it has been doing for months. I HATE the look of my car lens fogging, makes it look like a cheap beater. I would be eternally grateful to anybody who can help me permanently fix this.

    Engine cover?

Can anybody point to me to a link where I can get one of these for my 2010 Fusion? What Lincoln model will fit mine?
  14. If you wait a little bit on the stripes this kind of stuff will be available for the 2nd generation fusions. http://www.fordcustomgraphics.com/
  15. Takeda doesn't make a filter for the 2010, only the 2009
