After doing some more research the pcv hose is burried down in there and im sure that is whats leaking. Oh joy!

My friend has a 06 fusion with a 2.3 which was running rough at idle and throwing a lean code. I started spraying carb cleaner around the intake and found the area where the leak is but cant pin point it exactly. To me it seems like its the intake manifold gasket but im not sure if there are any other vacuum lines close. I checked the 2 lines that run from the actuators but they seem fine. The red circle is where I spray and it jumps up the revs every time. Should we just start removing the intake to replace the gaskets? I also cant not find much on removing the intake would getting a haynes be best I guess? Just looking for someone who has removed the intake before or even a picture of it removed.

Im so done with ford. I hate the trans in my 2010 I4 fusion and now I have this coolant sound. I never noticed this sound till I got it back from the dealer to get a dent in the fender repaired.

Mine doesnt have that notch it only goes one way. Its a little better to read now but still sucks.

I'll leave mine stock till they start to rust then ill prob use some vht caliper paint and go with black. The stuff is tough as nails if you bake it in the oven like your suppose to.

I made another thread with no replies yet but does anyone else have trouble reading the oil level on the 2.5l dipstick.

Any one else having trouble reading the dipstick on the 2.5l 2010 fusion. Mine just smears and you cant tell at all where the oil is. I had a few people try to check it. It has some resistance going in also like it rubs something anyone else have this issue? It might as well not even have a damn dipstick cause its useless.

Nice car I love mine I got the Monochrome package also and couldnt be happier. The great ride makes up for the slowness too haha I can just cruise around in this car and love it. I got the candry red it looks great with the grille also.

I dont get the whole steeda sway bar thing is this made to be used with the sport suspension or the stock suspension? Usually when you upgrade one sway bar you want to do the other also or you will throw the balance off. Usually it is the front also that you would do if its only 1.

Thats a bunch of crap having to pay an extra 200 and some dollars just for the sensors that I dont need. There should be a way to shut off the light. I wonder if you can with some good scanning software.

Hi, I have the 2010 SE with the 18" wheels and im looking for a rim and tire package for the winter. Anyone on here run different rims and tires in the winter?? Do you have to install the tpms sensors also or not? Seems like it could get really expensive . Obviously I wont need them for a few months but I definitely dont want to drive it around in the snow with my 18's and ruin them plus im sure the traction would suck.

Hi SnowBall, Thanks for checking out my thread and giving me some ideas. That is actually a Ipod touch but a holder for it might be nice. What rear window spoiler are you talking about not sure I seen one? I thought about the shark fin if they have one that installs cleanly. I also had thought about the sport side skirts but I rather not drill holes in the rockers and it looks good still without them. I painted and installed those gfx on my protege and hated drilling the holes but it did look great. Im not too big on colored interior pieces Im more into carbon fiber and brushed accents. Me and my Wife had thought about the white fusion also but I really liked the monochome package and what it included. If I had the white fusion I thought a black chrome grille would look cool if someone made one and black chrome wheels. I am from Cincinnati Ohio also thanks for asking.

If its a decent shop they shouldnt mess up the defroster but I would be worried about the dots around the window the tint might not stick or they could scratch the window.

Has any one looked up the paint code on this candy red yet me and my dad were looking at the formula and its a tri coat. Would be expensive to paint and a pain to blend im sure. Meaning there is 3 different coats just to the base.

I think the seat covers are the same just different accents im not positive though. When I first looked in the monochrome it really stood out over the others. Im going to get the windows tinted soon and eventually get the sport catback. That will prob be the extent of my mods since I want it to be a long lasting daily driver. I would like to lower it a tad but with the wife driving it im scared lol. I dont know why but the car kind of reminds me of my protege I use to own. Prob cause Its sporty like it and handles nice like it. Both were 4 cylinders and 4 door but the protege was a manual. I heard ford got some design features from the mazda 6 on this car.

I meant the manual tranny I had to get the auto so the wife could drive it also lol.

Man sorry about that I know how it feels. I had a mint 01 SS camaro rear hatch glass scratched badly by a tint shop and they never replaced it. I do know another shop that is really good though so I am going to give them a call about my fusion. I had 2 cars done at this shop and they did a perfect job. On the % ive had quite a few different shades and my favorite so far has been the 22% that is offered at the good shop which is a line-x. I tried 35% before and it was a little too light for me and I tried 15% and it was a bit too dark specially backing up at night. I also was pulled over twice with the 22% on my windows and the police never even mentioned a word about it.
