  1. The Sport with the rear view camera get's the chrome panel over the rear plate. I questioned it on mine too (which has chrome). I figured because of the SEL with the camera, which comes with chrome they didn't want to make a painted one just for the Sport.
  2. It drips from the firewall on the passenger side near the subframe near the passenger front tire. The system seems to drain pretty well while driving because there isn't much that drips after the car is parked. If you run in recirculate mode, there won't be much moisture from the drain. If you let the car sit and idle with the A/C on if it's humid out I bet you will see some water come out.
  3. Beautiful Cobra, I owned a '03 Sonic Blue Cobra and I wish I still had it. I now have a '97 Cobra coupe in Pacific Green which is pretty rare at 1432 units. Unique color on the Fusion also, good luck with it!
  4. Why would you fear you made a bad decision? You like everything about the car. You have have a noise in the front end, which I am sure is minor and can be resolved. They just need to take the time and find what is causing the problem. Go to a different dealer if they are unwilling to help you.
  5. I owned 2 SVT Contours ('00 and '99) and those were probably my most favorite cars that I have owned. I took them to many SVT sponsered road course track events, what a blast they were when they were performing! I don't know what it was about them, but they had some special feeling to them. The rarity of them, the exhaust note, the nimble handling, the heavily bolstered sport seats, and the manual transmission were all points I loved. So I find it's hard to compare the Fusion Sport to the SVT Contour because I feel the Sport was made to appeal to a much wider market than the "exclusive" SVT crowd. I think the Fusion Sport is faster than the Contour, but I think I would be alot more connected with the car if it had a manual. Another point is the Fusion is alot heavier than the Contour, which while it handles very well, can't compare to the nimbleness of the Contour. The Fusion has alot going for it though. The 3.5L and 6 speed auto is a very good engine/trans combo. The available AWD you could never get on the Contour. It's alot quietier, comfortable, smoother, and safer on the road. It has alot of available features like auto climate control, navigation, and heated seats. It's a easier car to live with on a daily basis that performs very consistantly. If they ever made a SVT version again, I would be all over it. For now, the Fusion Sport satisfies. I can still get my SVT fix from my '97 Cobra if I need to.
  6. I know the car has to be drivin past a certain speed for the temp to update after the initial start up. This is so you don't get false readings when you are sitting in the drive thru with the A/C fan kicking out engine heat on the temp sensor.
  7. Too bad they dont have any pictures, prices, or sound clips yet!
  8. My 1996 Explorer headlamp icons do light up whenever the ignition is on whether the headlights are on or not.. Not that it is needed once you know where the switch is..
  9. Job 2 Fusions and newer do not have the grade assist indicator because the EPA deemed it wasn't descriptive enough to alert the driver it would decrease their fuel economy. I believe it goes straight to selectshift mode now.
  10. Nice looking '08. What are you going to do to disable the AdvanceTrac on the '10? Can't imagine running very good numbers with that kicking in all the time.
  11. Are you sure bluetooth didn't get turned off in the radio's menu? also, check that the bluetooth is on in your phone. If those are OK, delete all phones from Sync and pair them with sync again.
  12. How can there be a off lease 2010 Fusion already? I got one of the first 2010's and have had it for not quite a year yet. Anyways, congrats!
  13. I have a Sport with the charcoal black seats with blue inserts. My headliner is light grey. I know this because I bought a visor from a wrecked Lincoln MKZ for the homelink remote, and it was a very light tan which did not match.
  14. Thanks for the info. I wanted to see that someone actually had them and get real pictures of them. The brochures aren't always accurate.
