  1. Any ideas? No leaks at all underside is clean and no smoking. Car has been ridiculously maintained since I got it with 20k changing oil every 3k with gulf tech synthetic. Rest of the car including anti freeze is amsoil. Plugs were done at 110k. Might pull the plugs and check them and do a leak down test.
  2. All it was stupid broken tab on this cheap ring that wouldnt let it come out of park lol super glad thats all it was. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  3. 2007 SE AWD with 75,000. Has amsoil in everyting cold air intake, cross drilled and slotted rotors and 5% tint. Trying to get the stock 18in fusion wheels to put on and powder coat them. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  4. Never mind see someone did start one.
  5. Went to shut off my car yesterday and key won't come out of the ignition. Any ideas before I have to pay allot of money or spend time drilling out the ignition and getting new keys.
  6. I had a bad experience with their oil one time in a mustang so I just stick with Mobile. Their price has gotten really high your right and I can never justify it. Im thinking about switching out my coolant with amsoil its suppose to be really good.
  7. Now I have this same type of problem but mine only occurs when its above 80 degrees below that it goes away immediately. 07 awd. Greased some of the bushings last summer and it went away for like 2 days then came back it was in the 90s when I did this. But all winter nothing until last week it hit 80 and it started next day it was 70 and nothing.
  8. So its getting warm again in northeast Ohio and the creaking is back only when it gets above 80 to 85 degrees makes no sense what so ever. Anything below this temp and it goes away.
  9. I have a 07 AWD switched front and rear diff and trans to full amsoil synthetic and it made a difference for sure. Trans shifts allot smoother and get better mpg. Was getting 20 to 22 around town and 28 to 29 highway now im getting 24 to 25 around town and 30 to 31 highway. I can get 400 to 410 per tank by best being 418. Im sure most know this but in case you dont the transfer case on the fusion is non servicable so dont bother trying to change the fluid in that.
  10. I have a 07 AWD switched the front and rear diff and trans to all amsoil synthetics and it made a huge difference in my oppinion. Without I was getting 20 to 22 around town and 28 29 highway. Now im getting 24 to 25 city and 30 to 31 highway. Last summer without it from Ohio to N Carolina with myself and a friend both weighing 200+ and both our girlfriends a/c blowing and trunk full of luggage was getting 26.
  11. I dont think he asked for anyones opinion just if anyone has done it.
  12. I want to do this to my fusion but not for 5 grand lmao. The fusion can be such a cool car to mod and looks slick wish there was a better aftermarket world.
  13. I have a 2007 Fusion ive had Hid 8000k installed before and they always flickered in cold weather and were just an overall pain in the butt. Im getting my bumper taken off and painted while they are in there I want to install a fresh set in headlights and fogs. I want blue but not overkill and I dont want issues. Is there a brand anyone could recommend were im not going to have issues. My old set in cold weather I would have to unlock my doors which kicks the headlights on then get in turn the switch on for headlights then start the car. If you started the car then turned headlight switch on they would just flicker. But in warmer weather they worked fine until they just went out one day and I said the heck with it and put silverstars in.
  14. Turns out it only got real bad on very hot days. When its in the low 80s and below the creek goes away. It ended up being the bushing on the front control arm. Soaked it in some grease and havent really heard it most of the summer unless it was in the 90s.
  15. Or here is an idea why not have it towed to a dealer. If its a 2010 im sure you had insurance on it. Unless your running a salvage yard whats your intentions.
  16. I have an 07 awd bought it with 23k has 55 now and I have not had any issues. I drive it all over. The only issue ive had is a bad control arm bushing which is nothing. I usually get around 21 to 22 mpg city and 28 to 29 around town. Just went from Ohio to NC last week with the AC full blast and 4 people plus luggage in the car got 25 the entire trip.
  17. Yea I was referring to him not you sorry. I dont think this is a cracked subframe problem its a creeking noise coming from the front end suspension. It sounds like a bad bushing or something but im not sure cant narrow it down.
  18. Oh thats all very funny thanks for being sarcastic and no help.
  19. Ok my bad PTU whatever lol. So technically I was right.
  20. the transmission or the transfer case. The dealership told me the transfer case has a lifetime warranty and the fluid cannot be replace.
  21. Yea sorry to hear that never like to see anyone with a Ford having issues. I have an 07 AWD had it sense 22k its got 49 on it now and I have not had one single problem. Its been a terrific car and its a beast in the snow. Hopefully everything works out I hate to see Ford lose a customer but you have to take care of them and if they dont with your car I dont blame you for not wanting another one.
  22. I have an 07 awd with both differentials flushed with Amsoil was going to do the trans case but come to find out you cant its a lifetime fluid. To take it out and change fluid would be a nightmare. I get maybe 1 or 2 mpg better gas thats about it and maybe piece of mind.
  23. First time I have not been able to diagnose my own car. I have an 07 awd and there is a loud creeking noise coming from the front passenger side. Im thinking its either a bad strut mount or a bad bushing but im not sure. Has anyone else had this problem the car only has 48k on it but I do live in Ohio and the roads are abusive to cars around here. Any help would be great thanks.
  24. That was my first thought tried all that nothing every connection was good. Car sat in the garage last night headlights where fine this morning. Its only been 2 times this has happened and each time it was in the 30's overnight while it sat outside.
