  1. The mpg numbers that I am talking about are just highway. Also, anyone have front rotor warpage yet ? Mine already have slight warpage at 5500 miles, with only a few hard stops.
  2. 32 mpg is pretty much best case highway at 65-70 mph, depending on highway hills of course. I get around 27 mpg at 80 mph and 24-25 mpg at 90 mph, has been as low as 14.5 mpg in other conditions, and yes I use the A/C (dosen't seem to hurt it much at all if your driving easy). I don't consider the oil changes a waste of money, I could go to 3000 miles but the oil is played out by that point .... cheap insurance. I haven't seen another Sport once on the road, that is strange..
  3. Bought Hella replacements for the low beams a while ago, as I noticed the stock low beam lights are very bad ! Haven't got to changing them yet as it looked like a real pain, this was helpful, thanks guys !!
  4. I will start with my own opinion, I bought my Sport last October, I needed a commuter that would be good on gas but still fun. Got 5K on it now, I drive it very hard on the highway, NO manual shifting, burnouts, or that type of abuse .. and so far I am pretty happy. It gets full synthetic oil every 2000 miles, and it is always up to temp. before I get into it. Only things I would have liked more from Ford, would be a functional exhaust (stock is pathetic), bigger brakes, and more rear end control (larger rear bar, and a lttle stiffer spring rate). Upgrades I will do soon include the Magnaflow exhaust, lower it 2", front brake upgrade, and a larger rear bar (probably Steeda but they want me to give them the stock Sport measurement) Seems like something in the shifting has changed in the past week, more noticable, (especially off the throttle when it is slowing down at higher speeds) hard to describe, not slippage. This car tightened up and lowered will be awesome at high speed. I can get 32 mpg highway driving normal, or as low as 14 mpg highway driving "sporty". I am a race engine & car builder and I have owned 50 cars myself, I really enjoy this car ! Want to hear more from everyone here....
