  1. I have a month old '14 Titanium, and I also have an annoying rattle or squeak in the passenger door when the music is played loudly. Drives me nuts.
  2. Not sure how the factory remote start is, but you can get an aftermarket one that is just as good if not better for less. As for the Nav/SYNC issue, its tough. Ford way overcharges for the Nav, but if you go aftermarket you're going ot have to find the correct interface for SYNC to work, and it won't be native or intergrated with the new head unit. Kind of a pain. I wish Ford/Microsoft would work with some third party stereo manufacturers to make SYNC aftermarket friendly.
  3. They're definitely good looking wheels. And they look really good with the blue on your car...
  4. lol, thanks for all the input guys. I'm definitely going to give this a go to repair them. I'm still seriously considering getting new wheels, but I can't make up my mind. And its funny, I've gotten 3 people offer to buy my wheels already.... I guess people really like these Sport wheels!
  5. Any recommendations on what grit paper to use? I know its got to be wet sanded, just wondering how fine you would go.
  6. Wow, thanks. I may look into that first. Not sure how much that kit is, but I'll definitely check it out. I'm not looking for it to be perfect, but I just dont want to look at the scratch....
  7. Yea, I started looking into getting it repaired. I havent found many places around here to do it at what I consider a reasonable cost. $85 is as cheap as I've found. Any ideas on where I could go to get it done cheaper than that? Doesnt need to be perfect, I'd just like the scratch out... And I plan on upgrading the wheels at some point anyway. I had planned on waiting until I needed new tires, but the curb rash just made me start looking at options, even though the tires only have like 2K on them....
  8. Yea, I kind of scraped a curb today. Not too bad, but still annoying. Here's a pic - So I started looking at other wheels. I planned on putting new ones on to begin with, but I really wanted to wait until I needed new tires, in case I decide to go up in size. I've always like the look of the wheels that are on the Euro Focus ST. I've seen them in both 18" and 19", and was thinking about going up to 19". Assuming I could find a set, how much "worse" is the ride as compared to the 18" Sport tires? And what do you think I could fetch for my Sport wheels, tires and TPMS if I sold them with the little curb rash on them?
  9. I shot them an email asking them to send me any information that they had about this tune... I'll share whatever they do.
  10. And God knows the transmission could use a tune.... If only they could tune the lag out of the manual mode.... hit the shift at 5K and you're bouncing the redline before the car actually shifts....
  11. 30 hp at the wheels? With just a tune? Damn. Even 30 at the crank would be impressive. 293hp sounds really good...lol. Do they have the dyno readouts and such for this? I'm all over it if I can see the goods. Not that I doubt them, I just want to see exactly what they're laying down.
  12. I had this problem on the rear window with my 08, and I have it again with my 2010. In my 08 I finally had him cut it at the dot matrix and he just painted it black up there... looked great. My tint guy wanted to give it another shot this time around, but it had the same result. He's just going to cut it and paint it again when I bring it in to have my speakers reinstalled...
  13. Doesn't installing the Ford remote start only have the same range as your key fob for unlocking the doors? I just got a Compustar remote starter installed with the 900sh single button remote and the temperature actuated rear defroster for $375. And the Compustar has a 2500' range, and I really like the look of the remote itself. Reminds me of the push button start in my wife's Altima.
  14. While its not exactly an elegant solution, you don't have to lose your SYNC if you replace the head unit. You're going to need one of these - http://metradealer.com/api/vfg/view-product/id/AFSI-01 It works a bit better in the 2010's without nav, because the screen for SYNC stays even if you put in a new HU, whereas the SYNC display is built into the HU on the 08s. So you have to get the one with the readout if you want to see anything. But you'll still be able to use the SYNC. I'm seriously thinking about replacing the HU in my 2010 Sport (especially now that my USB is being flaky on a month old car) but I'm a bit unsure as to what the SYNC display will show when I have the new HU. I know it will still show the automatic climate control and such. But I hate things looking half assed.
  15. Any numbers on what the tune does performance wise? They have some impressive tunes for their Mustangs, but dont list anything for the Fusion Sport.
