  1. Check this TSB, it looks like it fits the bill. Good Luck! tsb07_01_10__Vibration_Buzz_Bulkhead__1_.pdf
  2. Look here also http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...T&viewitem=
  3. This is the only TSB I know of with regards to a "No Start" tsb06_20_09__2.3L_No_Crank_.pdf
  4. PLease find out what they did. I have had my car to two different dealers with no success.
  5. Good Luck with this! Quite a few of us have this problem and no one has been able to find a solution. Apparently Ford doesn't care either!
  6. Rust/cracked weld on the subframe, See the copy of the TSB attached. tsb06_24_07__Front_Suspension_Noise_.pdf
  7. The check engine light should go off after 3-4 starts of the car. It is common on all these cars. Each time you flash it, the light will come on. As far as the anti-theft and not starting that is another thing, that has never happened to me. Just be sure you follow the prompts exactly.
  8. Just an update. I was purposely not using my All-weather replacement mats because I was afraid that they would come apart just like the original ones. Well I think I had about 6,000 miles on them and they are already falling apart again. I do alot of driving around and getting in and out of the car, but they should last longer than this. I would not recommend them to anyone. Spend the extra $$$ and get the WeatherTech Floorliners. They will last longer and do a better job of protecting the carpet since they cover more. Ford did a poor job on these mats they don't even fit that well. They are too small and don't "mold" over the the hump under the gas pedal, they lay over it and kinda flop there.
  9. I am guessing pin #5 would do the trick. Are you using your stock head unit? Here is a list of the wiring on the 24 pin connector. Pin1 - Blue/Red - Voltage supplied at all times Pin2 - Green - Accessory Delay Relay Switched Output Pin3 - N/A - Not Used Pin4 - N/A - Not Used Pin5 - Violet/Black - Antenna Power Pin6 - N/A - Not Used Pin7 - N/A - Not Used Pin8 - White - Left Front Speaker + Pin9 - Brown/Green - Left Rear Speaker + Pin10 - Brown/White - Right Rear Speaker + Pin11 - White/Violet - Right Front Speaker + Pin12 - White/Orange - Right Front Speaker - Pin13 - Black/Blue - Ground Pin14 - N/A - Not Used Pin15 - Gray/Brown - Voltage Supplied in Start (Overload Protection) Pin16 - N/A - Not Used Pin17 - N/A - Not Used Pin18 - Gray/Yellow - Audio Steering Wheel Switch Signal Pin19 - Blue/White - Audio Steering Wheel Switch Return Pin20 - N/A - Not Used Pin21 - White/Brown - Left Front Speaker - Pin22 - Brown/Yellow - Left Rear Speaker - Pin23 - Brown/Blue - Right Rear Speaker - Pin24 - N/A - Not Used
  10. +1 I have approx 29,000 miles on my car and have constantly checked the mileage from day 1. The computer calculated MPG has consistantly been within that range (.5-1.0 MPG above actual MPG) usually the low side.
  11. Try here. There is one for "Vibration from the bulkhead" http://www.fordfusionclub.com/index.php?board=1019.0
  12. Yes. I hope you all have better luck then I did & we'll see how long the replacements last that I got.
  13. Fanatic is right. That's why the AM went south. I f yo don't connect wire #5 it doesn't switch on the booster.
  14. I have the Milan version. Not worth the money. I had to have them replaced (under warranty) because they were falling apart. The ribs are hollow underneath and the rubber is soft, they just ripped away. Replacements are the same design, so I expect them to do the same thing.
  15. Check out dino & my posts here for the speed bump noises. P.S. The coolant bottle is not the problem for my car. http://www.fordfusionforum.com/index.php?showtopic=1074
  16. That may be true, but that doesn't mean they will do anything with the info. One call here and one call there will not draw much attention. A number of call all at once may
  17. akirby, Thanks for the input, but, been ther done that. I have also had a strange clicking sound everytime I turned a corner. After 1-2 hours of frustration, I notice a vibration in the center armrest. It seems my 17 year old has put a couple of loose cd's in there, on end. So, everytime I turned a corner they would roll back and forth and hit the sides of the compartment. Thanks again.
  18. OK, so here is the deal. There have been a number of people, including dino1234 and myself, that have noise coming from the right side of the car. It sounds like it is coming from the back, but is most likely from the front (suspension?). It happens when going over speed bumps and bumps in the road, not necessarily pot holes though. Sounds like a hollow clunking noise (ball in a wooden box or tennis ball in a tube). We are trying to get some force in numbers to call Ford/Mercury all at once to complain. Also, to see if it is prevalent in the same vehicle. So far dino & myself both have I4 auto’s, but 2007 & 2006. If you have this problem, chime in and take the poll and at some point in the next couple weeks we’ll call and start what I hope will be the stampede to get this corrected. The dealers do not want to spend enough time to track it down so we need Ford to step up to the plate. Let’s go. You can take the poll here, but I am trying to keep the results in one place. So, click the link, take the poll and chime in. http://www.fordfusion.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1409 http://www.fordfusionclub.com/index.php?to...7199#msg1847199
  19. I am in the process right now. I bought some used fogs. However, they have some on eBay (not factory ) that are a little cheaper. It seems the bezels and switches have to come from a dealer. I am not going to try the factory switch since it also the headlight switch. You can try partscheap.com. Email or call them. They can steer you in the right direction.
  20. Try eBay. You can usually find them on DVD, sometimes the paper version. They are all the same manual for the Fusion, Milan and Zephyr Here is the paper version. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2006-Ford-F...141682370QQrdZ1
  21. Actually there are some 2.3L motors out there already with the spin on filters such as the Mazda 3i. The parts already exist and you can convert it if you want. However, it would void your warranty. Check this link for some more info. http://www.mazda6tech.com/articles/mainten...47&Itemid=1
  22. If you do, let me know how it works out. I was considering it for my side lights. I have a black Milan and the orange side lights stand out like :happy feet:
  23. Here is a "do it yourself" alternative. http://72.10.43.141/nightshades.htm
  24. Thanks for the info. The main reason I was considering it was because with the shield on the drain plug is a pain in the ass to get at without getting oil up my arm. THe hose was the best part. LOL. Actually, the threads are the right size 14mm x 1.5. I threaded it in whe I changed my oil and it seemed it perfect. I didn't leave it in because, like I said, I wasn't sure of it's reliability.
