  1. I can safely say (No pun intended) that it handled GREAT. I walked out of that accident without a scratch and am very grateful, also wearing my seatbelt was a plus as well. GO FUSION!! I will post before and after pics once I pick it up which will be sometime this week.. Can't wait. In the meantime, I am driving my 2007 Ford Focus which is also a GREAT car. Thanks for your concern!!!
  2. http://www.cdecollisioncenters.com/ Click on "Check Your Vehicle" on the Top Right hand side of the website. The Car ID # = 62314 For a day to day update. This is so cool.
  3. Thanks for all the cards and letters, kidding.. Well the verdict has been reached and after further review, it has been determined today, January 4, 2008, the FUSION will be resurrected and will assume full recovery!!! :party2: There is no frame damage whatsoever and the engine is intact other than a slighly bent radiator cap. Other than that, an estimated total of $8,790.78 is what its going to take to get this baby back on the road. :car: Nevertheless, donations will be accepted.... Actually, GEICO will be picking up the tab on this one. Thank you very much... I will post pics once I get it back in about 10 days, January 23rd or their abouts. :tequila:
  4. :happy feet: Despite the fact that I wrecked the "FUSION" I came out of it without a scratch, just a very very minor abrasion on my left hand from the airbag deployment and perhaps a little shooken up, other than that I am doing fine. I maintained my distance from the Ford Ranger I hit, but I believe I hit a patch of "Black ice" and there I went. Nevertheless, I was still able to drive approximately 3 miles to work damage and all, and park my Fusion in my enclosed parking lot. It was picked up yesterday morning and I am awaiting if its a total loss or if they are going to fix it. Stay tuned.
  5. This is what happends when you rear end a Ford Ranger on a icy/snowy morning in Chicago and not being able to stop at speeds of approximately 45 miles an hour despite the ABS brake system.
  6. I have a fully loaded 2007 FORD FUSION SEL-V6 with 25,000 miles and loving every mile of it. The only concern I have now is that the seats are starting to make some squeaking sounds on bumps, and the dash squeeks as well on cold days. The suspension makes like a crunching sound when I go over speed bumps at a slow pace. Is anyone experiencing the same problems? Other than that, I love the car.
  7. CHI-TOWN.. HOME OF THE CHICAGO CUBS. :hysterical2:
  8. I have an '07 Fusion SEL V6 and I have the keyless entry.
  9. Honestly.... I have the same car you do, Black on Black and all I can say is keep it quiet. It is not a ricer, much less a tuner car. Its too sleek of a car to put all those modifications. Good Luck with it... I LOVE MINE!!!
  10. That's exactly what I thought.
  11. Any suggestions on trading in my 2007 Ford Fusion SEL-V6 for a 2008 Ford Fusion SEL-V6 AWD???
  12. The car looks great... But I would prefer going pinstripeless. Only because it takes away from the chrome trim. But despite the pinstripe... I LOOKS GREAT!
  13. Wow... I thought I was the only one with this problem. I have the identical 2007 Ford Fusion SEL-V6 minus the Nav Black with Limo Tints all around. I LOVE THIS CAR, I am 41 and have had many cars. This is my first Ford and I LOVE IT. I am constantly driving it, I've had mine since October 2006 and have already put 17,000 miles on it. ITS THE BEST CAR I have ever owned. DJ Rick
