Its still a roof mounted antenna- the mast is the same but the base is different for Sirius. there is a different listing for the cable from the radio to the antenna also. $65.00 for the base & $27.00 for the cable plus an audio processor. Some guys have found these on E-bay. Hope this helps for a factory set up.

Our dealership has gotten 5 of them in! Anywhere from the base SE to the loaded SEL AWD. They get prepped and sent to the showroom. they sell almost immediately. 2days tops! Great vehicle!!!

The Aisin tranny has been in Ford/Mercury products since '05 model year! 500/Montego/Freestyle also. It probably will be around for awhile. Why worry about it? It suppose to be a great tranny! was used in other vehicles prior to Ford using it.

Hey URNEWS,
Just a question on your headlamp bulb replacement on your focus, are you touching the glass part of the bulb with your fingers? Halogen headlamp bulbs won't last long of you get oil from your skin on them! The skin oil creates a hot spot on the bulb which in turn burns them out. If you're not touching the glass part, then you either have leaking lamp assemblies (moisture) or an electrical problem. We see a very low frequency of headlamp bulbs burning out! Just wondering 'cause you keep bringing this up on this forum.

It says 'Lincoln" on it.
how do you remove the fusion clock anyways?
The trim panel around has to come off, then there should be screws holding it to the dash. You will have to get a trim panel for an SE model if you want to eliminate the clock all together.

Hey all! I thought that their was some questions on what that small bin in the glove box was a while back! I checked with Ford engineering 'cause I've had some customers call inguiring on it. It's a CD storage bin!
Hope all have a great holiday!!! Scott

It looks like the Fusion headlamp goes further back into the hood than the Milan headlamps do. So I don't think that they are interchangable.

Hey all! Our parts catalogues call that an auxillary glove box. I would imagine to hold pens and other small things from slidin' around the glove box.

Anyone order all weather floor mats for their MIlan? Are they the same size as the Fusion? I've seen about 4 different models listed. The most popular seem to be the Husky and Highland ones. I called two Mercury dealers and they had mats listed, but not availalable yet. I just wondered how well the other fit. Is it worth the extra money or do I go to Walmart.
Pictures are always appreciated.
Yep, they are the same size as the Fusion, but they will say FUSION on them. Did the dealers you talked to check if they had them for the '06 Milan. The only color that really changed was the beige. The black and gray colors are the same. The Ford/Mercury all-weather mats are pretty nice. I think they are worth the $76.50 retail price for the set of four mats.

Hey SCOTBOY! I'm in northern Ohio, Cleveland area. I can give you a phone number for our local Ford radio center. Electro-sound Techni-car (216)433-1050. They can definitely tell you the price and what you need to get Sirius. They will need to know what stereo system you have, audiophile or not, 6disc mp3, if it has the "AUX" button. Hope this helps you! Scott

The factory spoiler kit is 7E5Z.5444210.AA! retails for $383.33 plus painting and installation.

Just a thought about an interior upgrade.. the Milan brushed aluminium dash panels will fit just fine on the Fusion. It would give it the Mustang sporty look!

WHERE DO I START; CRUSE CONTROL BUTTONS, SHOULD HAVE A 'CANCEL' BUTTON SO YOU DONT HAVE TO HIT THE BRAKE OR CLUTCH PEDAL, ON/OFF BUTTON SHOULD BE AT THE TOP AND RESUME SHOULD BE AT THE BOTTOM, SET + AND SET - SHOULD SHARE A ROCKER SWITCH.
LIGHT COLORED HEADLINER AND A/B/C/ PILLAR TRIM WITH DARK CHARCOAL MAIN INTERIOR SHOULD GO, MAKE IT 'ALL' DARK CHARCOAL;
CLUTCH PEDAL TOO FAR RIGHT, THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE PEDAL SHOULD BE WHERE THE LEFT SIDE IS; AUTO DOWN ON DRIVERS WINDOW, SHOULD ALSO BE AUTO UP;
DRIVERS SEAT SITS TOO HIGH IN LOWEST SETTING, FEEL LIKE I'M SITTING ON A MILK CRATE ON IT'S END;
DRIVERS SEAT BACK TOO FLAT, NEEDS TO PITCH FORWARD SOME AT ABOUT SHOULDER BLADE LEVEL, ADDING TO THAT, THE HEAD REST IS TOO FAR AWAY.;
TRUNK NEEDS A PULL DOWN GRAB HANDLE, NOT A STRAP LIKE ON MINIVANS, BUT AN INDENTED HANDLE IN THE LID LINER MATERIAL, LIKE ON MY VOLVO S60;
MANUAL SHIFTER NEEDS TO BE SMOOTHER;
RETURN TO REARVIEW MIRRORS W/SET SCREW, NOT THESE INFERNAL COMPRESSION FIT PIECES.
NOT REALLY COMPLAINTS MIND YOU, JUST OBSERVATIONS THAT CAN BE IMPROVED UPON
There is a cancel button- it say OFF- does the same thing

When Ford introduced the Fusion/Milan, they stated that AWD would be added on the '07 model and the next generation hybrid system would be added on the '08 models. So they are staying true to their word so far.

What does "PM" mean? What is the cost for the remote start including labor for my 2007 Ford Fusion at a Ford dealership ? :do what:
[/quote
I'm not sure where you are at, but I'm work for a dealer in northern Ohio. We have a Ford certified radio/alarm/remote start company that installs these for us. The remote start is around $499.00 parts and labor. They use Ford factory and accessory parts. Hope the info hepls!

First of all, THANK YOU for being in Iraq! GOD bless you and your family!
As an employee of a Ford dealer in noerthern Ohio, I have had the pleasure of driving Fusions. FWD and AWD versions. Awesome vehicle!!! I'm in the process of ordering my AWD SEL! Can't wait for it to get here!
You could say that I bleed blue! LOL!!! Have family that is currently working or retired from Ford at the corporate and dealer levels! Good Luck to you!

I'm looking to lease a merc milan awd premier.
can anyone tell me if you can get back up sensors on the milan? one of the design flaws are that the butt is too big, and its hard to see when backing up. every other mercury offers it as an option. none of the ford dealres are sure. for the fusion and milan, they have no idea. but you can get it on the zephyr / mkz.
i dont want an after market, i will pay for a stock feature.
the same goes for the keyless keypad. for a 28,000 dollar mercury, i want a keypad and backup sensors.
ford is losing millions to overseas automakers, and its because of stupid things like this.
if anyone knows about this, please let me know.
i dont trust the dealers, because they also tell me you cant get a fusion awd, or a milan with a navi. these guys are idiots. please help. - skarlad@aol.com. thanx, -Nathan
Ford offers an "add-on" keyless entry pad that sticks on the door above the outside door handle. As to the "design flaw" most of the JAP cars out there must have gone to the same design school. A lot of them have the same "butt to big" design. having driven a fusion for a week, I became very used too the "big butt" design and don't find the need for a reverse sensor system. good luck! Scott

Does anyone know how to remove the nasty "Ford" logo of my front grill. I love the 3-layer chrome look, but the oval Ford emblem sticks out like a sore thumb. I know its a Ford, but the whole world doesnt have to know it. :shades:
LOOKS LIKE THE EMBLEM IS HELD ON BY TWO SPEED NUTS ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE GRILLE. CHECK IT OUT!

Make sure the whl/tire size change won't effect the AWD system! I have seen people put different size tires on AWD moutaineers and the transfer cases got smoked from it! Big money to fix!!!!
