  1. I have a 19 Fusion Titanium with the 2.0L Ecoboost. I'm looking at this BOV. It says 13-16, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if it'll still work on a 2019? If not, does anyone have any recommendations? Any advice would be appreciated!
  2. Hi Folks - Took my 2014 2.0L Titanium with 16,500 miles on it to the local Valvoline Oil Change today (Ford dealer had a 2hr wait) and they noticed the coolant was low. Since it was a drive through service, I was able to see they didn't do anything and verify it was low... there are no leaks on my garage floor, and according to the service tech it was low ~3 Quarts. Any thoughts? Temp gauge is right where it should be - no warning lights or anything. According to the guy at the Oil change facility, he sees this sometimes with Turbos - Does that seem correct? Any insight that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Will just monitor the levels for the next few weeks to see if it goes down again.
  3. Hey there, people! I just got my 2016 Titanium last week and am in love with it! I work at the dealership and have been driving these and MKZs for months and finally decided to take the plunge. This is my first new car, coming from a 97 Accord SE, which is the newest car I've ever owned. Because I'm used to mechanical throttles, these DBW cars frustrate me a lot. I invested in the 2.0L because I wanted a sporty commuter car, and because I read I could get the throttle tuned to be more responsive. Because it's a 2016, I don't think many tunes are available yet, so I just thought I'd ask if anyone has any solutions in the meantime. I'd also like to know where to go once someone does release a tune to get one programmed into my car. I know very little about the process except what I've read since studying these Fusions, though I'm very tech-savvy otherwise.
  4. I currently own a 2010 Fusion Sport. Recently I was at my Ford dealer for service, when I noticed the new Fusion. I walked over to take a look at it and was hooked. It's beautiful inside and out. When I noticed the 2.0L gets an EPA 22mpg city, and 33mpg highway and scoots from 0 - 60 in under 7 seconds I became intrigued. My Fusion Sport can easily make the grade when it comes to acceleration, but I get 18 mpg city and 28 to 29 mpg highway. Seeing an opportunity to perhaps upgrade I took it for a test drive. I test drove a FWD 2.0L Titanium. Before we left the dealer parking lot I reset the mileage tracker, then let the sales rep guide me thru his routine test drive. It was all back roads with only 2 stop lights. The car got 20.5 mpg on the trip. Afterward I took my Fusion Sport thru the exact same test drive route. My car got 24.5 mpg. Thinking maybe it was a fluke (because I really want to like this car), I went to a different dealer today and tried my same test again. This time the 2.0L got 17.5 mpg and my car got 21 mpg on the same route. I realize this isn't a completely fair test. It's a short drive, I'm carrying a sales rep with me in the 2.0L but not in my Sport, and the 2.0L hasn't been broken in yet. However my instincts are telling me that none of these excuses are going to make up this mpg gap. Perhaps actual MPG for these cars is going to be no improvement over my current car. Am I wrong? My Sport isn't anywhere near an MPG world beater. Can anyone explain what's going on here? I wonder if the 2.0L would get significantly better mileage with Premium gas. Seems like the kind of engine that would run best on premium.
