Hey all, So last year i had an issue with my ac not working. After some digging around and posts on this forum, i noticed the pins on my resistor had melted and needed to be changed. I changed the resistor (black box with the heatsink) and the blower motor as it had gone as well. It was fine for the summer and didn't really use it for the winter (was working in Canada and did not need the ac) I have since relocated to Texas, and last week the ac would cut off and on. I would remedy this by sticking my hand under there and wiggling the cables. This seemed to do the trick till about a few days ago. My wiggle trick stopped working and so i stuck my head under there to see what has going on. I was shocked to see that the resistor pigtail/connector had totally melted. I then removed the blower motor, the resistor the cut the burned pigtail off. The blower motor seemed fine and had no issues so i reinstalled that. I ordered a new connector cable and spliced it in and then ordered a new resistor and installed that. After about an hour of work in the hot Texas sun, i got it set up and the fan turned on and seemed to be blowing air This is the second day after install and i notice it does not get that cold as it did before. i have not done any inspecting yet but it doesn't get as cold as it used to. I notice it gets colder when you hit the max a/c button, but still not to the desired temperature. When you leave it on a/c with the fan high, it doesn't really get that warm. It blows cool air. I am not sure what could be the issue. My install seems to be holding up without any issue but that is all i have looked at. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Some updated pictures of "Lucy" my 2010 Mercury Milan Premier. I bought her 2/2012 with 23,000 miles on her and now she has 63,000 miles on her. She is fully loaded only options she doesn't have are the V6 and AWD. She is a "Spring Special", which is why she wear factory special 18" Ford Fusion Sport wheels on her. That's also "Thelma" my 2003 Dodge Durango SLT 4X4.

I managed to pour some sticky/gooey liquid into the rear seat belt mechanism. The seat belt was easy to clean by just soaking it in a bucket of water and letting it dry. Before I allow it to retract and likely just get gooey from all of the stuff that was rolled up into the mechanism I would like to clean it; but so far I have not found a way to access it. It appears to be behind some of the sheet metal in the trunk and based on what I have been able to see so far the same is true behind the rear seat cushion. Any suggestions or links on how to gain access; so far Google has not found anything useful. Thanks!

Hey all! I have a 2010 Fusion SE, with the 17" steel wheels and plastic covers. I was wondering if I could simply take 18" Fusion wheels and replace the ones I currently have, or if further modification would be necessary. Thanks!

Hi all! I'm moving to the North Virginia region in about 2 weeks and I'm trying to purchase a vehicle before I arrive. I'm looking for a 2010+ Fusion 4Cyl in good condition with under 50K (Preferably under 40K). I'm not too worried about trim levels- SE at the least, but other than that not too picky, with the exception of fog lights, I really prefer fog lights. Other than that I'm just looking for something that gets good gas mileage and doesn't have any issues. I'm only wanting to spend about $13K or so, if you have anything please let me know! I'm having an issue with my 2010 Ford Fusion SEL. Over the past couple of months, the sound system has been randomly cutting out, sometimes for just a second and other times for extended periods. When this happens, nothing works (AM/FM, CD, Bluetooth stream). I have tried turning everything off and back on, restarting the car, and nothing works. It seems to just randomly start working again. The last time it did this, the volume came back but was very low and would not change no matter how much I turned the volume knob. After a couple of hours, it seems fine again. I'm lost. Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what this could be?

I've got the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid with Navigation. I've had my phone and my wife's phone synced with the system since I bought the car a couple years ago. All of a sudden, they are no longer synced, and I can't add them again, because the buttons are grayed out. The little Bluetooth icon on the navigation screen is no longer there either. Any suggestions?

Hello all! i have been a long time stalker of this forum and figured i would finally become a member. I was given my 2010 Fusion SE V6 as a fleet/ company car about a year ago and have made it my goal to make a cheap fun "modified car." Which is where i wonder if yall can help me out. I have done the exhaust already straight pipes from the cat back, but i was looking to lower the car, on a set or cheap springs but not ebay ones so i was looking for used, eibach etc. So far i have $60 (Stainless tips, and a couple cans of paint) dollars in, and was hoping to spend no more than $200 on the car since it will be getting turned back in in about 30,000 miles. Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum and modding fords I have a 2010 FF SE V6 6spd AT w/ss, so far I have done a Steeda CAI (insert removed), SCT X3 tuner (93 octane custom), Steeda STB, 6000k lows and 6000k fogs. That is it for now, I have had the car for a few months and it runs great. The car changed a lot with the install of the power pack, low & top end pulls are strong and the sound is intoxicating. I ran her against my friends 2013 5.0 last night and it did very well. I have much more planned for this car and will post her progress.
