Where is the keyless remote module located in the 2011 Ford Fusion? I need to disconnect the power from it to try resetting it. My wife's remotes have both stopped working, after only working when right next to the car for some time. They've both had new batteries and that didn't help. Seems to be an issue with the wireless receiver. -
I have a 2011 Ford Fusion Sel 6 cyl 3.0 and have had the orange wrench light come on a few times the past couple of days. I have gotten two error codes according to my bosses scanner. I've looked them up, but most of the stuff I saw online was vague and just overall general stuff, was hoping someone who might be familiar with the car and/or codes could help me a little more so I know how to go about getting it fixed. The codes are: P2119 - Generic- Throttle Actuator Control Throttle body range/performance P06B8 - no description - had to look up online and got this - Internal Control Module Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) Error Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking into a 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid that was previously a government vehicle and only has 28,000 miles on it. Right now it's currently priced at 9700 and I might throw them an offer for $8000. The photos of the exterior, interior, and engine all look super clean. The low miles are the main attraction here, but if it's sat for extended periods of time I wonder how the hybrid battery is holding up, and I'm not sure if purchasing a model this old is a good idea. The dealer doesn't sell many hybrids and can't offer much information about the battery. Given the current circumstances with COVID-19, I haven't seen it in person yet and I'm only going to travel somewhere to test and inspect a car if the dealer is interested in my offer. I've also been looking at other Fusion Hybrids, as well as Ford C-Max, Prius, Sonata Hybrids, and Chevy Volts (which are too small in the back), Any feedback is appreciated!

I’ m looking to do a flush fill on my ‘11 Fusion SE. 4 cyl. From what I’ve read is that it’s not hard to do. Any tips or help would be appreciated. I’ve never done this before & would like to do it myself versus paying a high price at the dealer.. The pic is what I’ve purchased. -

Hey guys and gals! Need some advice on removing my auto trans cooler lines, purchased the quick disconnect tools from harbor freight, autozone, and rented the kit from autozone. Nothing is fitting and releasing the quick disconnect. Anyone have any idea where to purchase the exact tool or tips on removing them? Please let me know!

I will be swapping a Ford fusion 2.5L into my 2004 automatic Mazda 3 soon. But I'm still trying to decide what year engine to purchase. I'm wondering if anyone has had the pleasure of tearing these engines apart and wether or not i should go with a newer engine or stick to the 2011 2.5 because that is what the majority of Mazda 3 owners have used. I tried to start the car in the garage and the battery was totally dead. I then tried to shift to neutral so I could roll the car back so I could jump it next to my other car. I could not shift it due to the battery being too dead. I connected a battery charger and charged the battery. I managed to get everything working except the car will not turn over. It sounds like it tries for a split second then stops. I left the charger on the car overnight, in the morning the car was making clicking sounds, some lights were part way on, and the battery was only partially charged. (with the charger still connected. I believe it turns off when full charged). There was no indication anything was going wrong ahead of time. Does anyone have any ideas on what the cause might be?? Hey, I've got a 2012 Fusion that I do so love. The chrome grill on it I have plasti-dipped, however being that it is the grill, the plasti-dip tends to chip a lot since I do a lot of back road driving (I live out in the middle of the country) I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on where I can find one (reasonably priced of course, I'm ballin on a college student budget here). The only one I have been able to find that is not chrome is quite expensive for each piece. If you don't have ideas on where I could buy one, what about how I could get it permanently blacked out? Maybe professionally painted or some other DIY tips?

I'm hoping this is the right place to be posting this, but I'm wondering if there is a real difference between between the '10-'12 models that would be noticeable. I plan on getting a Ford Fusion within a few months and I'm looking at a nice 2011 Sport version, however it's a 3 hour drive to get it while there's a nice 2010 model pretty much 20 minutes away. I'm trying to figure out if there is a real difference and if I would miss out on any decent updates if I decide to get the 2010 instead of the 2011 version. Thanks for helping in advance.

Hi all, first post.. I have just purchased a 2011 Fusion Sport AWD and doing some research on remote starter options. I know i want a Bidirectional remote start and would prefer to stay with an OEM but i'm interested in any feedback on the availability of options out there. I plan to buy and install whatever system i go with.. fwiw, i held an ASE master auto tech cert before i let it expire years ago, so i have no doubt I can do the install, especially with the install thread posted by thefoeyouknow lastly any leads on the start system for a good price are appreciated. I am looking at possibly taking out the stock head unit and putting in a touch screen system that will allow me to do everything on it (i.e. navigation, radio, ipod, bluetooth, steering wheel controls, car diagnostics, etc.) I have a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL with the Factory Sony System in it so I do not need an upgraded system. Anyone have any ideas on parts and what it would cost to put a decent set up together without blowing the bank? I am up for any suggestions!!! Thank you. Questions are also welcomed!! This is before I put in smoked side markers with LEDS!!!

Hi all! I'm moving to the North Virginia region in about 2 weeks and I'm trying to purchase a vehicle before I arrive. I'm looking for a 2010+ Fusion 4Cyl in good condition with under 50K (Preferably under 40K). I'm not too worried about trim levels- SE at the least, but other than that not too picky, with the exception of fog lights, I really prefer fog lights. Other than that I'm just looking for something that gets good gas mileage and doesn't have any issues. I'm only wanting to spend about $13K or so, if you have anything please let me know! I have a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL (Ingot Silver) with tinted windows, smoked side markers with leds in them, and smoked license plate cover. I want to do more modifications to it, but I need some sites, suggestions, reasonable price options, and so forth!!!! Any help would be appreciated. Hey everyone, this past September I had the privelege of purchasing a new to me 2011 Ford Fusion SEL. When it first came out I was definitely in love with it, but I never expected to be able to get one as soon as I did. Unfortunately my last car (1993 Eagle Vision Tsi) had the transmission go out at 46,000 miles(not a typo), which forced my hand into getting a new vehicle, little did I expect this to even be an option for me. I was happy about getting my parents 2001 Jeep Cherokee, then this opportunity came along... But enough sappy backstory, this car is great! It has leather heated seats, heated mirrors, SYNC, steering wheel controls, pretty much everything but a sunroof, NAV, and a spoiler. Its a 4 cylinder car, which is great for gas, but its not as athletic as a 3.0L I tested out. The main reason I joined the forum is to figure out ways to better the performance and appearance of my Fusion, which I've affectionately named "The Predator". Through roaming the site I already plan on: Changing the headlights to HID LED Puddle Lights, Turn signals, Reverse Lights, License Plate Changing the lower turn signal to a clear lens instead of amber Adding a Spoiler Stripping the stock sound system and adding in all new aftermarket products Maybe Plastidip Grill and Tail lights (Smoke color) Ive attached a couple pictures, and Im open to any advice, insight or ideas about how to improve my Fusion. Im mechanically inclined to a certain extent, Im not so great with electrical (working on it)and my experience with a rattle can is pretty good thus far; so most of the work I plan on doing will be performed by yours truly. I have a full set of perfect 18 inch Ford Fusion Factory Wheels with tires on has 4000 miles on them for sale ... has no curb marks and tires are perfect... im asking $800 for the set I may take best offer but if u wanna low ball me then search some where else .... these wheels are not cheap and retail for 400 bucks each without tires... I have pics that I can email of each wheel to show they are Mint Condition ...
