Hello, I'm new to this forum & this problem may have been discussed ad nauseum before, but I can't seem to find it if so. The LED part of the tail lights on my 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium, the ones on the fender NOT the trunk lid, do not light up while i am driving at night. Only that very faint light in the corner is on. HOWEVER, the LEDs do light up just fine when opening & closing the doors, or when remotely locking the car. I've gone to the expense of replacing the entire tail light assembly on both sides but that didn't work. Anybody else have this problem that can offer some advice? Please?? Edit: BTW, the brake lights and turn signals work just fine. -

So my 2014 Ford Fusion, which i do really like, has this passenger side mirror issue. I found that it does not work, while everything else on the same fuse does. So i have been able to decide the fuse is fine. There is no physical damage, is there some place to check for a wiring fault? How should I look into diagnosing the issue? I miss having the window defrost the most here in New England. Luckily the mirror is stuck in a usable position.

Last month I picked up a ‘14 Fusion Energi Titanium with 120k. Really enjoying it so far but I need some insight around fuel economy. I’ve always had trucks so I’m new to the hybrid stuff. With EV mode off, I’m only getting 32-34 avg mpg (combined city & hwy) instead of the 44/41mpg estimates. I understand estimates vary but we’re talking 10 mpg lower. Does this seem low or normal for being a hybrid? It’s 6 years old with 120k so is there any sort of tune-up, maintenance, computer update, etc that I should look into? Secondly, the EV battery seems to be, well, useless. I plugged it in a couple times and the EV mode lasted idk like 6 or 7 miles from a full charge. I see Ford guarantees the battery up to 100k so does that mean my battery is now basically useless since I have 120k on the car? Is there anything I can do besides replacing the battery altogether? Am I getting lower fuel economy in hybrid mode cuz the battery may be toast? Thanks guys.

I have a 2014 Fusion SE with base everything except I have heated seats. I was wondering if I could buy the Sync 2 touch screen off 4d Tech and if that would add dual climate since it has a passenger-side climate thing.

I have a 2014 Ford Fusion with the 1.5 ecoboost motor. I’m having a little trouble with it though. Check engine light came on and the code is a P0301 (misfire in cylinder 1). But the car drives just fine, it only sounds weird when I start it when the engine is cold. On a cold start it sputters a little bit and idles weird, but then calms down and idles regularly after about 30-60 seconds. I originally thought this was a spark plug issue or an ignition coil problem, but I am not sure now. Any thoughts?

I have standard 6 speaker, non-Sony, audio. in the last two days, there ease a loud static/crack out of the driver door speakers. The audio cut out but came back until the last time when the audio didn't come back. All audio controls have power and display works and responds to menu selections, but none of the normal audio responses occur. Also, voice commands are responded to by the system. i checked audio related fuses and they seem fine. Other threads indicate there may be a bad speaker or tweeter. Before I blindly order replacement speaker and/or tweeter are there other things to diagnose?

Hi, I have a 2014 ford fusion titanium AWD and it started throwing a code for a turbo over boosting I have been looking and I'm seeing that it may be an issue with the waste gate but shortly after this my AWD stopped working its coming up on the dash "AWD Temporarily Disengaged" but it doest seem to come back on can this be an issue from the turbo? could the turbo be causing the AWD to heat up and shut off ? when I get the turbo fixed will the AWD come back ? I have all the same size tires on the car they were all purchased at the same time. thanks in advance for any help.

Currently own a 2014 Ford Fusion 2.0L. I have had it into Ford twice for transmission problems, shifting hard going from 1-2 and 2-3. The first time was about a year ago, end result was my transmission being rebuilt. The most resent time I had a new transmission installed all together. The issue has never gone away. Have an appointment for Monday to have it looked at, new tranny came with a warranty. Unsure what else to do, I am so tired of this. Any advice would be appropriated.

Occasionally, my 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid with 23,000 miles will have a loud squeak (like the noise from the wiper motor shaft turning inside a rubber seal boot) with each stroke of the Driver's side Wiper Blade. It seems to be coming from the windshield, but I believe the noise is simply reflecting off of the windshield, because the wiper blade does not chatter on the glass. I have installed a brand new wiper blade without improving the occasional problem. I can find no reference to a similar problem by using the internet ... and of course it never happens when I'm visiting the dealership. Has anyone encountered a similar symptom .......... and knows how to fix it? -
The passenger side exterior mirror goes crazy after a rain or car wash. Most times it forgets its memory setting and the glass droops to the full down position when the car is turned off. When I restart the car it doesn't return to the correct position. After a hard rain last week it went totally crazy - sometimes it would go to full up other times full down. When I would press the memory button the mirror would start moving all over the place - up, down, left, right. I would have to hit the memory button 5 or 6 times to get to the right position. Of course it stopped the day before I took it to the dealer and they can't repeat it. Anybody else experience this?

2014 fusion ecoboost myford touch. anybody know what the hell is going on? On a hot day my car will display a message on the dash with a failure to communicate with ac and guess what??? When this happens the windows fail to work as well!! The ac buttons on my dash don’t work either and no temp is displayed by my clock. If it was just the ac i would troubleshoot the temp sensor but why in the heck are my windows failing too??? Does anybody have a complete wiring diagram for the dash harness so I can possibly trace my problem while at the same time praying it’s not a faulty apim of bcm? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I bought a 2014 Fusion Titanium in March 2014. Since October 2014 the driver seat creaks whenever I lean forward or back, accelerate or decelerate. Car has been back to the dealer 8 times and is still not fixed. I have the power heated seat. Has anyone else had this problem?

Back in August of 2017 I brought my car in for Safety Recall 12S41-S4. After evaluation, Ford decided to replace the engine at no charge. I told the dealer to replace the clutch while they had it all out since the car had about 70,000 on it. I will try to make the following details short, but you will get my point I'm sure. The clutch made a loud grinding noise whenever there was no throttle input. Brought it back twice and they blamed it on an exhaust misalignment. Every time I picked it up, I told them there was clearly an issue with the clutch. Finally the clutch gave up and I had to tow it in (over 40 miles) The clutch disk had completely torn apart at the hub. Ford paid to have a second new clutch put in, along with a flywheel, and all bearings and bolts. The car was much better, but there is still clearly a clicking and grinding noise when the car is sitting still in neutral. If you push the clutch pedal in, the noise goes away. Brought the car back twice for the noise, they claimed they couldn't find it. Second time I demanded that someone come out and listen to it. They did and agreed that was a serious issue. However it was the only manual transmission fusion they had ever worked on, so they had never heard this before. They contacted Ford for their advice. Ford suggested further inspection and disassembly. Now the car has been at the dealer since February 20th for Recall 17S09 and the clutch. They said they are putting another New clutch in the car, but now it is on super backorder and they don't know when they will get it. So has anyone ever heard of these issues with the clutch in a 13 - 14 Fusion? Isn't Ford required to still make parts for cars for a certain amount of time? I mean the car is only 4 years old and they cant find a clutch anywhere??? I should mention that I do not blame the dealer for any of this, the dealer has been more than helpful and given me great loaners every time, I just want my car back. Any help or advice is much appreciated. The dealer and mechanic are working with me as much as possible, but they have no idea what is causing the noise. My thought is that the destroyed clutch damaged the input shaft on the transmission when it blew apart..... maybe a long shot, but I'm stumped. Thanks in advance. -
I am currently selling my BARELY used Cobb AccessPort. I tuned my 2014 Ford Fusion 2.0 EcoBoost for one day, and uninstalled the tune, and its been in the case ever since. There is nothing wrong with it at all, just would rather sell it to someone that would actually use it then have it sit in my dresser. I had only tuned my car for the day mainly out of curiousity, then had to get it serviced ( which is why I uninstalled the tune) just in case you know? and just really never messed with it since for some reason. ** This AccessPort is unmarried** Comes with all accessories I am asking $350. I purchased it for $500 on Mountune's site, and think that is a real reasonable price for how much its been used. Throw me some offers though, the worst I can say is No And I just realized all pictures are horizontal and Im sorry haha -
2014 Fusion Titanium Along the perimeter of the front windshield from about 1-2mm from the edge, there are tiny bubbles that will not disappear or fade away in dry conditions. It doesn't matter if it is hot or cold. I tried wedging a microfiber rag in the small crevice to see if it is a liquid and try to soak it up to no avail. It is very noticeable. It seems that the windshield is delaminating somewhat and causing this issue. No, it doesn't interfere with my driving, but is an eyesore when viewed from the outside. Has anyone else had this occur? I cant seem to find much information other than large bubbles in the middle of the windshield from older model fords that are not fusions. I'm installing a subwoofer into my car and ran into trouble when attempting to remove the radio to splice into speaker wires. I have removed all of the trim and the two screws holding in the cover over the entire radio. I know that the cover needs to be lifted from the bottom but the cover does not pop off like it should, only the bottom half of the cover pulls away. Is there something that I am forgetting undo to remove the cover or is the cover supposed to be very difficult to remove the first time. -EDIT Found a way by just prying it off carefully hopefully will not have to take it off again

Hello! I am trying to add my subwoofer to my 2014 fusion se with the MFT system. I DONT have the premium sound with the rear deck lid speakers. I was gonna use a line out converter to get the signal for my amp and i was thinking that the wiring harness for the rear deck speakers would still be there but I cannot seem to locate it after pulling out the siding of the trunk. I did find a 12 pin clip that wasnt hooked up to anything and I think that that might be it. Its located almost under the rear passenger seat. does anyone know if that would be the right connector? What would the color of the speaker wires be if it is? Also if that is not the right connector does anyone know the color of the speaker wires comming out of the rear doors (not the tweeter wires)? Any help would be great! -
I suppose this isn't really a welcome as I've been on the forums for quite a while, posting questions and all. However this will be my official intro to the group, as I now own a Ford Fusion 2014 Titanium and it's amazing. It's my first time owning a Fusion and so far I'm loving every bit of it.

Hey guys, I was thinking about plasti dipping both the grill and the riims on my 2013 Ford Fusion SE. It looks just like the picture below. How do you guys think it would look? Should I do it in matte or gloss. Also keep in mind that its a lease so how many coats should I put on it so that I could be able to get it off easily? Thanks!

I've been reading into this issue for about 2 days now because my car now says USB empty when I select it. I bought the car in April and everything was working fine but last month I was in car accident. The car was given back with all OEM parts and everything was working except the USB port. I am bringing the car back to the Autobody garage once they get a part that I found still broken but that won't be for a week. Figured I might as well try to fix the issue. Here is a list of things I have tried and symptoms: Unplugging battery for 20 minutes then reattaching removing fuse 13,15,32,33 waiting 5 minutes and plugged back in powering down my iPod and turning it back on Can't install sync software again because I'm already on the newest one Tried toggling the accessory key turn repeatedly Master Reset of the sync Factory defaults of the sync Tried 2 different phones and 2 different iPods Tried 3 different cables USB option always says empty even when nothing is plugged in USB doesn't charge anything Bluetooth works fine for audio playing and phone calls My question is what else can I try? Additionally there is no fuse labeled Sync in the 2014 manual so I'm not entirely sure 13, 15, 32, or 33 were correct. I'd prefer not to bring it to Ford because I just found out my dealership, the scammers they are, won't give me a loaner vehicle when I drop mine off because I don't bring my vehicle to them for service (I am not paying $60 every other month, I drive 23k annually, for an oil change, I've done my own since I started driving and I do keep receipts). I do plan on bringing it to them every 10k miles which the sales rep even said was fine and off course the only time they are open is when I am working. It has to be the USB port isn't being detected because all these devices use to work before the accident. Any other tips?

I leased a 2014 Ford Fusion a few weeks ago and purchased a Ford Remote Starter to have it installed by the dealer's installer. After I got the car home and was reading through the manual, I noticed that there may be menu options for the remote starters on the in-dash convenience menus. However, these menus are not available if the remote starter is installed after the car leaves the factory. Even if the remote starter is a Ford Remote Starter with a Ford Part #. This seems silly to me. I think it should be as simple as adding an update to an android (or windows) phone. Add new hardware, install app. Seems simple. Ford service (via twitter.com/fordservice ) advises me that this is just the way it is supposed to be... They did suggest I create an entry on their social page and try to drum up support for my position. And I have done this. Any chance I can get the support of the folks here, whether you have the remote starter or not, please click here and give me a thumbs up to support my idea.
