I decided to fiberglass my driver and passenger door panels to house 3 speakers each.

Hello, My sons car is a 2012 Fusion SE. we have recently started having an issue with the door ajar chime/light. It is intermittently blinking on the dash and chiming. We have opened and closed each door, it registers appropriate for that. However, after driving we noticed a trend. It only goes off if you go above 45mph. Not once does it alarm if you go under that. It seems that the faster you drive the more rapidly it goes of; blinks and alarms with the chime. I believe it must be a wiring issue? We have checked the boot outside of the drivers door by the frame, don’t see anything wrong there. Has anyone ever had this issue? Are there any ideas? I should also mention that we recently had a new motor put in, but didn’t notice anything right away. Then shortly after we had a thermostat, battery and water pump replaced. This is when we noticed it. Could this be related? I would love feedback. This is unbearable. Thank you!

I purchased a used 2012 Ford Fusion that unfortunately didn't come with a remote keyfob. That's no big deal since I don't mind using the key . However, whenever I lock the door (using the lock button the door) the security system arms. When unlocking the door I have to rush in and start the car before the alarm goes off. Is there a way to lock the car without also arming the security system? Pushing down/in the lock lever (or using the key to lock the door) does the trick, but that only locks the driver's side door, leaving the rest unlocked. Thanks

I am new in this forum so hopefully I am not repeating a situation that others have already solved. I have a 2010 Fusion SEL with SPEC 302A package (BLIS, rear camera, etc) and have owned it for 5+ years. The car has a perimeter alarm system. A few years, I had a deal lessen the sensitivity of the alarm system as it would go off all the time. That seemed to work for a while. Now, the alarm system will go off even when I don't arm the car. I press the lock button on the key once to lock the car. I don't press twice to arm it. When locked, somewhere between 2-5 times a week, the alarm will go off in a parking lot. I have seen it do this even when no one is around nor any car even getting near it. I can tell it has done this as when I come back to unlock the car, I hear four chirps from the car indicating the alarm had gone off. I have called two Ford service departments and they have indicated that they need to see the alarm going off before they can fix the problem. I understand where they are coming from on this. So, I need to figure out a way to get the car's alarm to go off when it is not armed and do this at the dealer's location. That will not be easy as I can't predict when it will go off nor have I determined how to set it off. Has anyone had this happen to their car and if so, how did they remedy it other than disconnecting the alarm system which I don't want to do? Thanks Stancal

does anyone know if the ignition harness current is high or low? low current would be less than 3A on the CONSTANT 12V, low current would be less than 3A on the GROUND low current would be less than 1A on the STARTER 12V thanks in advance. I've been trying to acquire this info by googling for over 12 hours now.

I'd like to install a SCANNERS theft deterrence on my 2012 ford fusion. Does anyone know which wire is grounded when the factory antitheft system is armed? Or, which wire is grounded when the engine is off? Thanks.

Ok I saw a movie where there were a bunch of guys who worked for an armored car company and then they decide to rob the truck, things got bad and the one guy trying to stop the robbery and save the cop who was shot put a fuse for the alarm back in. Long story short. I am wanting that same horn/siren but in my fusion, I already found the Horn/Siren, now I'm trying to figure out how to wire it in. does any one know of a place to cut the wire going to my horn so I can tie my siren into the Alarm output? I need my horn to still operate as the horn, and the alarm module to activate the siren I bought.

I have a 2007 Fusion and the car alarm "chirps" at times when the doors are locked. It doesn't do it all the time but only when doors are locked. It will chirp 4-5 times and repeat occasionally. Has anyone else ran into this? I'm debating if I can disable the entire security system so I don't have to deal with this anymore. Any ideas?

Hi Guys...I'm brand new to the forum and I come bearing a problem! Just bought my wife a 2010 Fusion SE, V6 which she absolutely loves except for one thing. She has the unlock/lock buttons on her key and they don't work. Everytime she unlocks the car she has to race to get the key into the ignition before the alarm triggers. I've had it to the dealer and purchased a new key and it still isn't working. The dealer said that both keys were broadcasting fine, but they couldn't get the buttons programmed to the car. I've tried the programming method of turning the ignition from off to run 8 times...the doors lock/unlock...pressing a button on the key, but it's not working. Both keys will start the car. I've searched all over the internet and am coming up empty so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! (I've asked on another forum and haven't had any success either) (the car was in a front end accident...hood replaced, drivers fender replaced, bumper replaced, steering wheel airbag blown which is not yet replaced...all other electronics and systems seem to be working right)

Hey guys! Got a 2010 Fusion Sport. I've installed HIDs, which work great. Don't like when I disable the remote door locks/alarm, and the headlights turn on. Is there a way to disable the headlights when using the remote door lights Thanks.
