Hey all, I recently purchased an 07 Mercury Milan Premier AWD (which to my knowledge is identical to the Fusion in terms of the powertrain). The car has about 110,000 miles and runs great bar a vibration that occurs between 25-35 mph. This vibration is generally more present when the car hasn't yet warmed up. After doing some driving, the vibration mostly subsides. It can be felt pretty strongly in the back of the drivers seat. My first thought was that this is the driveshaft. However, word around the street appears to be that when these do go, I should hear some sort of howl noise. My car remains silent though. Any thoughts on what this can be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Daniel P.S: Putting the car in neutral does not change anything. Also, the car recently began developing a bounce kind of sensation in the front right wheel that typically occurs after driving a bit. Its not pleasant at all and it seems to go away after slowing down a bit.

I don’t know if this has been done, and it’s only out of desperation and money saving that I’m planning it, but im researching doing a backwards front conversion on my 2012 Fusion SE.ive searched junkyards and pull a parts in 4 states with no luck on a bumper cover or headlights, and i don’t have the dough to purchase a bumper or headlights new. The mounting points for the fenders, hood, radiator core support, and bumper cover all match up, I’m just wondering if anyone has done this before? I’ll try to keep updates of what I’m doing.

So as the title says, my driver's side rear window auto up doesn't always work on my 2017 Fusion Titanium. I can do the relearn and auto up will work until I roll the window down more than halfway to which point I need to do the relearn again. Note that auto down always works. It's quite an odd behavior. I figured it has to be something with a position sensor (or however it knows what spot the window is at). During my research someone had said on another forum to pull power to the window while manually operating it to reset the regulator control module, but that didn't help. It's not triggering any sort of pinch detection so I find it odd that it's just that window and just auto up. I figured I would reach out and see what others think, possibly a bad window regulator assembly? -
2016 Ford Fusion SE 1.5 Loss of power steering assist No turn signals No wipers, unless on full blast Maultiple service lights on * Rear Parking aid fault * emergency break malfunction * Service advancetrac * sterring assist * abs lights * service wrench * trac control * Airbag * Brake But no codes No check engine Though it was maybe a fuse , checked fuses and changed any that did read out properly Then thought maybe do a reset Disconnected batt , held terminals together to drain down power to the pcm, let sit 24 hours. Didn't work Any other suggestions I been told , airbag clock spring , wheel sensor/ abs, steering position sensor or some crap. Idk what else todo , only vehicle and I have 3 children and im a single father and fire fighter. Former cert Diesel tech, so I kkow my way around a wrench I just need some insight. Thank you ! -
I have a 2015 Fusion SE with the 202A equipment. I REALLY need the wiring diagram for everything in the center stack, I am trying to put a line output converter on, and I cannot find any diagrams that match anything that is behind the stereo. Could anyone direct me to correct diagrams for the 202A package?? I have the 8 Inch Sync Display.

Hey y'all, my name is Mark, I've owned a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL V6 3.0L AWD for a few years now and started working construction last year, love the car and plan on keeping it till it gives out, just bottom out fairly often on the jobsite and want to lift it hopefully 4 inches. Hoping someone knows how to install a lift, what parts you'd suggest for it, any video references, etc. I've only ever done one lift on my cousins 80's Toyota truck and that was 6 years ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Ok Guys, I'm new to this forum & a noob to this "F๏rd H๏rde" in general.... Thanks in advance for y'all's advice. As mentioned in title, I own a white 2019 1.5L Ecoboost Fusion SEL. Milage : 28098 Maintenance is up to date as I handle it personally. Carfax shows it's history as a Enterprise rental in Ohio until a minor Front passenger side collision. Cosmetic damage only, nothing mechanial. Car repaired; sold to dealership; bought by me @ around 18,500 mi. So today I did scheduled maintenance # 2 since I've had her & after pouring in my fresh 5w20 it seemed as if it was running louder than I remembered; not only that but there is an intense CLICKING that is even louder than that. This was coming from the small plastic 'WhatTheFucksIt' that can be seen in the pic & heard in the vid clip. 1. I'm trying to identify 'said' part & find out if it's supposed to behave in this manner or if its malfunctioning? 2. Is my Engine idling abnormally loud or is it perfectly fine & I was tripping earlier? IMG_2976.MOV -

Nobody wants to buy a Ford unless Ford does 0 percent financing or some ridiculous incentive that no other car maker would do. A time bomb exploded in my Fusion yesterday. I have wheel covers and not mag wheels. The wheel covers are held on by a special lug nut that is tapered. When those lugs eventually where out it cost $12.oo each to replace. Each tire takes 5 lug nuts, do the math. What stupid engineer at Ford thought this one out. You never know what times bombs are in the Ford vehicles in general. I have been burned for the last time. Letting me drive out of their service bay with a nail in my tire did not go over to well either. Nail was in a bad spot and the, imminent flat, could not be fixed. Maybe that's why?

I have a 2014 Ford Fusion SE FWD with the 2.0L turbocharged ecoboost engine. The transmission seems to stutter in third gear under heavy acceleration, but doesn’t seem to happen with normal acceleration. I have noticed that it only becomes an issue in third gear and has never happened in first or second gear. It usually occurs somewhere around 60 mph or about halfway through third gear, but i think the revs and current gear are more important to the issue than the speed. Yesterday, I tried leaving my foot glued to the floor while the issue occurred because I was curious what would happen since I usually just let off the gas and accelerate calmly and to my surprise, it happened until the engine issue light came on and flashed for about 20 seconds before going away and turning off completely. The light did not return, but the issue has not been resolved and I can only assume it would happen again if I tried, but I don’t want to damage the car. I think I noticed a slight cut in power after the engine light started blinking, but i could be wrong. Though, whatever cut in power I may have felt went away after the light stopped blinking. My car has been doing this for a couple months, but I try to avoid causing the issue to happen as to not damage the car. I must also mention that the car has not always done this in the two years of ownership. This has only been an issue in the past couple months and I change my oil and oil filter regularly as well as having no other issues with the car except for this. If anyone knows what is wrong or has a theory as to why my car is doing this, I would greatly appreciate a reply. Thank you. :) IMG_3809.MP4

I have a 2013 Fusion purchased, used from Carmax, about a year ago. Recently noticed that there is some bubbling happening under the paint in several places along the edge of the hood. Spoke with my local Ford dealer and was told this is not under warranty because there is no perforation. Called Ford directly and was told the warranty only applies if there is perforation of the metal, which there is none. My warranty expires in a month and a half, so I am looking to determine what my options are. I have included pics.

Asking a serious question here I bought a 2014 fusion se 2.5 fwd from an auction got a stupid deal on it 100k miles runs great, I want to swap the 2.5 n/a fwd out for the 2.0 ecoboost fwd engine/ecu,harness I seen both se trims look identical inside and out and both engines use the same exact transmission I was wondering how possible is this ? Seems like it should work also what are some other things I may need to keep the car running decent ? I got the car for 1800 bucks so I. Not really try to sell in go buy a car with a 2.0 -
Hey Fellow Fusion Owners, I am on my 4th fusion and have just purchased an APIM module with navigation for my 2018 Titanium because it didn't come with Nav and i want it. my question is when i plug this in i am aware that it is plug and play for sync and i will have navigation, my question is will i have to go into Forscan and turn something on in order for the navigation tab to show up in the right hand screen of the Instrument Cluster? If so how does one do that? if anyone knows of a good step by step guide that would be really helpful as i don't want to screw something up in Forscan as I am not to mechanically inclined. -

Just bought a 12 Ford Fusion SEL with sony sync and the stereo stopped playing sound. Had to take it to the dealer after 2 car audio guys were unsuccessful to learn the Sony amp has gone out and needs to be replaced. Which they quoted $860. Any recommendations on the cheapest route to just get sound back again? And does anyone know where the DSP amp is located?

Hello all. Just stumbled upon this forum and looking for help or advice! I just recently bought a 2009 ford fusion with about 130k and solid shape. No rust, interior clean, new tires, brakes, etc. Overall a solid purchase for $2300. Just needed a new battery and bled the air out of the breaks. Now here is my question. The only thing that I cannot figure out is how to tackle the problem I have with my instrument panel. All the gauges work but I am not getting my 1. Odometer display 2. Brights indicator 3. Seatbelt light 4. Possibly check engine light (since they are next to each other) 5.Change oil light (same reason Etc. All the ones in the middle above the odometer display My turn signals work but that is all on the panel. Gauges and turn signals. I'm wondering how to go about this. Is there a fuse for the indicators on the panel or is this possibly a wire/bad soder? Any info is much appreciated. I've read if I bang on the dash the solder could reconnect but no luck, I've been looking for the fuse that controls the instrument panel but can't really find it in the manual. Thanks, Slizza

So my 2014 Ford Fusion, which i do really like, has this passenger side mirror issue. I found that it does not work, while everything else on the same fuse does. So i have been able to decide the fuse is fine. There is no physical damage, is there some place to check for a wiring fault? How should I look into diagnosing the issue? I miss having the window defrost the most here in New England. Luckily the mirror is stuck in a usable position.

I have a 2011 Ford Fusion Sel 6 cyl 3.0 and have had the orange wrench light come on a few times the past couple of days. I have gotten two error codes according to my bosses scanner. I've looked them up, but most of the stuff I saw online was vague and just overall general stuff, was hoping someone who might be familiar with the car and/or codes could help me a little more so I know how to go about getting it fixed. The codes are: P2119 - Generic- Throttle Actuator Control Throttle body range/performance P06B8 - no description - had to look up online and got this - Internal Control Module Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) Error Any help would be appreciated.

Engine swap Curious questions Ford Fusion hybrid came with the 2.0 Atkinson engine that only produces 70hp and an electric engine with 118hp well a total of 188 hp isn’t horrible but what if you could swap the 2.0 Atkinson engine for the 2.0 eco boost engine. That comes with 240hp then you’d combine a 118hp electric engine making the engine near 360 hp with tones of torque from the get up and go from the electric engine that would be a cool setup and beat most cars especially if you did away with the stock turbo With The bell housing looking and appearing to match how hard of a swap would this be any insight? ps this my fusion

I have a 2016 Fusion with eco boost. The other day i was letting the car run while I was in the house. I came outside pulled off and the car shut down telling me the "Engine coolant temp overheated, low oil pressure, service trac system, service rear parking aid system,, and also low tire pressure". i was told to change out the engine coolant temp sensor which I did. Now the car still wont start, it doesnt even turn over. Also i bought 2 different code readers from walmart and neither will connect with the car. Anyone else experienced anything like this? Any info would help as Ford is booked weeks out. Thanks

Can anyone assist in possibly diagnosing this problem? I'm thinking the AC compressor is bad. Whenever the AC is on it sounds like a jet engine under the hood. Lifted the hood, and the noise is coming from the compressor area. I made a short video of the noise. I'm still getting semi-cold air. https://imgur.com/a/QghqFuR
