  1. It is a 2010 ford fusion hyrbid. I've gotten behind the radio and found the harness but I'm not sure which wires to tap into for the LOC. I have pictures of the harness if that helps at all.
  2. I need a wiring diagram for an auto dimming rear-view mirror on a 2012 ford fusion SEL. I’m planning on installing a new backup mirror. I figure Blue wire for 12v+ and a black/yellow for 12v-. I also have green which I assume is ground. But I have two blue/light blue wire I don’t know about. I could really use some help. And to be clear the mirrors only feature is auto dimming nothing else. I’ve included pics. Also if anybody can give me the name of 16 pin connector that would be awesome.
  3. I took my 2012 Ford fusion into the dealer at about 15,000 miles because it was making a horrible noise in the engine bay. The technician determined it was a pulley bracket and after replacement the issue seemed to be resolved but the next day the check engine light came on and the car began running rough. I took it back to the shop and they determined the CVT solenoid had to be replaced (don't think this as a coincidence since it was worked on the day before). Ever since this repair the car seemed to make a ticking noise when cold and it seems to be getting louder over time. I've had it into the dealer 3 times over this noise and they keep telling me there is nothing wrong with the car and its normal engine noise. Please listen for yourself and provide me with any feedback you may have.
  4. My first problem is i cant find all the interior bulb sizes. The next is how do i change the bulbs i figured out the trunk but not the dome lights. The next is it legal to have blue interior lights ?
  5. Selling a set 2012 ford fusion se brake pads an rotors. Paid 75 only want 50. Email me for details. Kozzman18@yahoo.com or text at 216-246-1999
  6. I suppose this isn't really a welcome as I've been on the forums for quite a while, posting questions and all. However this will be my official intro to the group, as I now own a Ford Fusion 2014 Titanium and it's amazing. It's my first time owning a Fusion and so far I'm loving every bit of it.
  7. I'm kind of in a big pickle here: In about a month and a half to two months, I'll be pulling the trigger on buying myself one of these beauts, however I'm kinda stuck in between two cars from two different dealerships, so I'm here asking for a little input from others. Both Cars are Ford Fusion 2012 Sports. Car A: This car has about 83k miles on it, and is all wheel drive. It also has pretty much all the major features that comes in a fusion of that particular year, the 2012 model, including the Navi. It even comes with a remote start! That really saves me the trouble of going to get it installed later. So yes, this car is a very nice looking car with all the bells and whistles. It costs about $14k with taxes and everything included, and it's being sold right in my home city. The bad part about the car is that it doesn't have any warranties, and the potentially crucial 83k miles on it. Car B: This car has about 43k miles on it, and is not AWD. It has nearly every feature of Car A, save for the Navi, but it does keep the reverse cam and BLIS. It doesn't have the remote start either, but again can be installed later with the tracking device I plan to put into it(can never be too sure). I can do without the Navi system as I do have a smart phone, but again it's always a nice add-on. The car is priced at about 17k after all the taxes and whatnot. This car also comes with a 1 year warranty from the dealership as its CPO'd and it comes with a 7 year power train warranty. The only thing is that the price of the car will mean I would have to hold off on any custom installations until after I can pay off the car some. It's also about 1.5 hours away from me. I know that 1.5-2 months could be a long time from now, and that cars like Car A could be purchased easily(however I have a feeling that many people will be spending their money on Christmas gifts rather than cars, unless the car would be considered the gift lol). Which car would sound like a smarter choice to make? Thanks for the help everyone!
  8. Like some other users here I noticed today that the Climate Control options on my 2013 Ford Fusion (mine's a hybrid, not sure if that matters) are all greyed out. I recently took the car in for one of the recalls for some sort of flash and honestly I'm not sure if that's what changed the options to grey and unavilable or not. Now that it's getting colder I noticed that when I used the remote start the seats arne't warm and the front and rear defrosters weren't on and when I tried to change the setting everything was grey From what I've read I suppose that I'll need to take it into the dealership and printing out someting that says: Remote Start options greyed out from research I have found 3 possible solutions 3 possible solutions. TSB 13-05-28 TSB 13-4-4 Or update the instrument cluster. If these don't work then the tech needs to go through the remote start enable process and recheck for the cluster enable not being set in Module Programming/Programmable Parameters on IDS There are 2 parameters that must be set, along with equipment flags. Often a tech that doesn't do lots of these will only enable one, because he doesn't expect there to be multiple. Anyone have any other suggestions? Not looking forward to yet another day without my car Thanks
  9. Set of 4 (four) Ford Fusion Titanium wheels with tires mounted in excellent condition. No curb rash, dents or scratches. Take-offs from my Titanium after I upgraded to the 19 inch H spoke wheels. ***Only 8,500 KM on these!!!*** > These are the premium OEM 18 inch Titanium rims which are approx. $700 each from Ford without tires > Wheel specifications are: 18 x 8.0 J ---- Bolt Pattern: 5x108 • Center Bore: 63.4 • Hardware: 12x1.50 Lug • Offset: 35-45mm > Tires are the stock Goodyear Eagle LS2 - 235/45R18 94V > Tires come balanced and include all four Ford TPMS sensors and centre caps I do not know with certainty if these will fit other manufacturers besides Ford vehicles from 2013 onwards (please review the size specifications above closely). These WILL NOT fit Ford Fusions prior to the 2013 model year. However, they will fit on any Fusion from 2013-2015 and I have been told they will also fit any Ford Focus from 2013 onwards. A great set for someone looking to upgrade their base or SE Fusion rims. Only 8,500KM. Just bolt them on and you're set! ***$1,200*** Please see pictures and contact me through the forum or text 905-928-7221 with any questions. Located in Burlington, Ontario Canada.
  10. I have a 2014 Fusion with 1.6L and 6 speed manual transmission. I bought it new and have had issues with the heater since I owned it. While in the city the car will not warm up like it should. When the car is in neutral the heater will blow out significantly cooler air then it does when I am in gear and driving. The car will not even warm up to full temp on the temperature gauge when in the city or if I let the car idle for an extended period of time. The only time the heater works right is if I drive on the highway or back roads where I am consistently driving. It will then warm up in 10 minutes and stay warm. It has been at one dealership 5 times and then I finally took it to another dealership 1 time. The water pump, PCM and clutch position sensor have been changed. They have also hooked it up to the vacuum multiple times to try to get air out of the system. I have not noticed any improvement at all but the dealerships are telling me that it is normal for a manual transmission car and that it is fixed. Has anyone else had this issue with a manual transmission fusion? It seems like it should not matter what transmission is in the car. Any input would be great. This is a very frustrating situation since I live in Michigan and it is cold. I really like the car except for this issue.
  11. Hello I am going crazy here trying to find info anywhere I can on what could possibly be the issue with my vehicle. Trying to avoid any towing or mechanic fees unless last resort. My car was riding fine the day this issue began, Came home from store and parked the car, put it in reverse to adjust parking then slid it back into park. No unusual sounds or anything but the car was stuck in reverse on the dashboard and gear, but the shifter was in park and I then couldn't move it at all. Put the emergency brake on and turned the car off. Tried turning the car back on, but it wouldn't start due to it being in reverse. Cannot move shifter at all to move to any other gears its just stuck in PARK. Brake lights work fine although the brake pedal does feel a little bit tougher to push down. Does anyone have any info on what I should be looking at or where to start? Thanks so much for any help.
  12. I'm looking at a loaded 2010 Fusion Sport AWD. ( Would love some opinions about this one. Seems a little over priced, but also in fantastic shap. Thoughts on reliablity, quality, deal, etc?
  13. Hey there, So today there were killer rain and flash floods here in Deep South Texas. I was driving home and was pulling out of a walgreens parking lot and drove into deeper water than i thought there was. I heard a scrape and watched the water splash. I drove a little bit further and all of a sudden i hear a thud and look behind me and see that my driver side wheel well /fender cover is ripped off as well as long skinny guard that is directly connected to the bumper. (I have had some body issues and that little skinny part was already breaking off. ) All of a sudden i got the wrench light and the check engine light. I got home and let the car sit for a bit (10-15 minutes) and then went out there with my little bluetooth OBD2 reader. I read the code and it comes up as P0713 - transmission fluid temperature sensor circuit high input . The check engine light is still on but the wrench light has since gone away. Does anyone what may have cause this? I would like to fix this myself it is simple (praying) or would i be able to drive it to the dealer. I was like a quarter mile from when it happened to my house but that drive back, i did not notice any sort of issues or clunking or anything. I am scouring the internet, but cannot come up with anything. It is now dark so i cannot go check it out further but will be doing that tomorrow if it is dry enough
  14. Hey guys, so I am looking into doing some exterior mods to my 2010 Fusion Sport. Its the silver color, and I was thinking about dipping some parts of it. I want to know what you guys think would look good and what would look bad. I installed LED's in the foot-wells the other day and they work great! Definitely going to look into some HID's also. Any other suggestions?
  15. I bought Ford fusion SE ecoboost 2015. Not sure If I should buy maintenance package. Please advice Thanks,
  16. From the album: 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium

It rained for 2 days after I bought this car, can't even roll down the windows to enjoy the cruise.
  17. Hi, I recently purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium w/19" rims. I live in Buffalo NY and winter is quickly approaching. I was looking at putting on a set of 'winter rims' and tires. I looked up the bolt pattern and it specifies as a 5x108. I typed this into craigslist and found a set of 4-16" rims with a 5x108 bolt pattern off of a 98 Ford Taurus. It states that the rims are OEM of that car. Does anyone know if these will work? I know close to nothing about cars so I hope that i have given sufficient information. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
  18. Hi guys! Last night I picked up a 2014 Fusion SE with the Luxury package for a good price. However, one of the wheels has a bit of rash and needs to be touched up. Looking online, it appears that the color is "luster nickel" however the pictures don't seem to match the wheels in person. The only touch up color I can find for these cars is the silver sparkle effect. Here's a photo of the car and wheels in question. Thank you!
  19. Hey everybody! I got my Fusion a few weeks ago, and just decided it's time to join a forum. I bought it with 4000 miles on it so I'm considering it my first "new car" even though it was technically used. I'm going from Houston, Texas to Chicago, Illinois for school and have never had a winter setup on a vehicle so I'll definitely be relying on some help!
  20. As the title says, can Navi(most importantly the screen) actually be installed into a car that didn't come with one previously. I'm asking because I don't have a Fusion yet, however I am in the market of buying one within a few months. I want to know if I can actually install it, along with a backup cam. If no then I know I need to find a car with one already installed. Thank you to anyone whom replies to help me.
  21. I'm hoping this is the right place to be posting this, but I'm wondering if there is a real difference between between the '10-'12 models that would be noticeable. I plan on getting a Ford Fusion within a few months and I'm looking at a nice 2011 Sport version, however it's a 3 hour drive to get it while there's a nice 2010 model pretty much 20 minutes away. I'm trying to figure out if there is a real difference and if I would miss out on any decent updates if I decide to get the 2010 instead of the 2011 version. Thanks for helping in advance.
  22. Hey all, I have a 2010 Fusion SEL that has been having some A/C issues. (fyi its full of freon) A while back my fusion stopped blowing. After posting here and doing some inspecting, i noticed that the blower motor had gone as well as the resistor. I then switched out the blower motor and the resistor and it seemed to work fine. Fast forward to about two weeks ago, and my a/c again had cut off and i was upset. After looking at the resistor i noticed that the connector/pigtail had melted. I bought a new resistor and a new pigtail for it and spliced it in. I noticed that it wasnt blowing as cold as it should. It seemed like room temperature air. Sometimes it seems to blow really cold and sometimes not at all. It blows strong, but just not as cold as i want. I dont know why sometimes it works well and sometimes it doesnt. Usually does not though. Anyway, about a day ago I noticed that the passenger side was blowing really hot air. I am not sure why. That is where I am at now. I took a look under the glove box but nothing seems to be bad. I wonder if maybe this has something to do with my splicing job or what. I am going to maybe try to resplice it but its 100 plus here in Texas and i am way too fair skinned to be out there in direct sunlight and this heat. Maybe try in a few hours. Hopefully someone has some insight and advice. Anything is appreciated.
  23. Hey guys, I'm trying to modify my bumper. I'm not really sure though if it's possible to be done so I thought I could take your opinion. As you can see in the picture I'm trying to remove the plastic underneath the grille and put a custom made grille that could cover the whole thing without that particular item. It's just an idea but im not really sure if it could happen. Let me know if you can recommend something. Thank in advance
  24. Can someone tell me what services items are required for 100,000 mile service for a 2010 Fusion Hybrid. I've seen all sorts of conflicting information, & want to make sure what items are 'required,' 'recommended,' or otherwise 'optional.' Any help appreciated, & thanks in advance! George.
