  1. Where is the vapor canister purge valve assembly located on the 2.0L HYBRID engine in a 2014 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid? I have searched everywhere. I know where it is found on a regular engine - but I can't find where it is located on the hybrid vehicle.
  2. I had a check engine on my 14 S Hybrid that came back with P26CA & U019F as the 2 top results when scanned. After some research all signs point to the electric coolant pump (DS7Z8C419D, PW611, & PW544) and its harness connector. Of the limited amount of info I've found on google and YouTube, i cannot find anything that shows where this is located. Does anyone have experience with this?
  3. Hello Everyone, After having my tires rotated, I started to experience my steering pulling to the left intermittently and feeling a bit loose. I took it back in to have an alignment done since I have a lifetime agreement at my local pep boys. It did not resolve the issue. I needed to have the PCM updated to fix the wrench light, so I decided to take it in to get diagnosed by the dealership. They are very adamant that the issue is with the rack and pinion, which they tried to get me to replace before. Long story short, it turned out to be an issue with one of my tires. It's been about 4 years since then and I haven't had a single issue with my rack and pinion. They are now trying to charge me $3000 for the repair, but I declined and just got the update and a coolant flush on my engine/mect. When I picked up the car it is now pulling to both the left and the right intermittently. I looked at the notes and it appears the tech crossed rotated the tires. It doesn't appear that the tech did any other diagnostic work to rule out an issue with the sensor. Before I went into the dealership, I ran the codes and took a screenshot. I reset the codes, so I could get my power steering working again. I did have the typical service power steering light come on along with my abs and traction control lights. I am thinking that the issue is a bad steering angle sensor. I wasn't sure at first, but I saw a few youtube videos of other fords having this issue and it turned out to be a sensor issue. I wanted to check and see if anyone has an opinion or has experienced this issue before. If you have any information on possible diagnostics/calibrations I can do through forscan (I have the full license), that would be helpful as well. here are some of the videos I looked at: (I was having a hard time finding english videos) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWgY7FDNFt0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc59s9JbpDw&t=608s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsjZfI13fLQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ed-KsE9m870&t=5s I wanted to thank everyone who helps on this forum. I have been able to get through quite a few issues and I am very appreciative of everyone's efforts.

  5. I just finished replacing my upstream O2 sensor, to fix the the engine light, which coded out as P0130 on my $55 Autozone OBDII reader. It was not that easy, the slotted deep sockets did not work at removing the very frozen-in-the-manifold sensor. But once accomplished the light seems to be permanently out, and the code gone. Total cost, $72. Pictures available on requested.
  6. Last month I picked up a ‘14 Fusion Energi Titanium with 120k. Really enjoying it so far but I need some insight around fuel economy. I’ve always had trucks so I’m new to the hybrid stuff. With EV mode off, I’m only getting 32-34 avg mpg (combined city & hwy) instead of the 44/41mpg estimates. I understand estimates vary but we’re talking 10 mpg lower. Does this seem low or normal for being a hybrid? It’s 6 years old with 120k so is there any sort of tune-up, maintenance, computer update, etc that I should look into? Secondly, the EV battery seems to be, well, useless. I plugged it in a couple times and the EV mode lasted idk like 6 or 7 miles from a full charge. I see Ford guarantees the battery up to 100k so does that mean my battery is now basically useless since I have 120k on the car? Is there anything I can do besides replacing the battery altogether? Am I getting lower fuel economy in hybrid mode cuz the battery may be toast? Thanks guys.
  7. Engine swap Curious questions Ford Fusion hybrid came with the 2.0 Atkinson engine that only produces 70hp and an electric engine with 118hp well a total of 188 hp isn’t horrible but what if you could swap the 2.0 Atkinson engine for the 2.0 eco boost engine. That comes with 240hp then you’d combine a 118hp electric engine making the engine near 360 hp with tones of torque from the get up and go from the electric engine that would be a cool setup and beat most cars especially if you did away with the stock turbo With The bell housing looking and appearing to match how hard of a swap would this be any insight? ps this my fusion
  8. Can anyone assist in possibly diagnosing this problem? I'm thinking the AC compressor is bad. Whenever the AC is on it sounds like a jet engine under the hood. Lifted the hood, and the noise is coming from the compressor area. I made a short video of the noise. I'm still getting semi-cold air. https://imgur.com/a/QghqFuR
  9. Does anyone know of a list of LED interior lights for the 2019 Ford Fusion hybrid? Are they the same as previous years? If so, are there any videos showing how to swap all interior lights? The lights in the car are bright, but I think cool white would look even better. I’m a neat freak and I detail my car weekly and not only would this help to point out imperfections, but it will also further show how clean I keep my interior. I’m also looking for any cool ideas to make my car look even nicer as it is brand new to me, I just purchased it two days ago. Thanks for any help! Dmaxard
  10. I'm looking into a 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid that was previously a government vehicle and only has 28,000 miles on it. Right now it's currently priced at 9700 and I might throw them an offer for $8000. The photos of the exterior, interior, and engine all look super clean. The low miles are the main attraction here, but if it's sat for extended periods of time I wonder how the hybrid battery is holding up, and I'm not sure if purchasing a model this old is a good idea. The dealer doesn't sell many hybrids and can't offer much information about the battery. Given the current circumstances with COVID-19, I haven't seen it in person yet and I'm only going to travel somewhere to test and inspect a car if the dealer is interested in my offer. I've also been looking at other Fusion Hybrids, as well as Ford C-Max, Prius, Sonata Hybrids, and Chevy Volts (which are too small in the back), Any feedback is appreciated!
  11. Im lookin to find the passenger side fuse box of my 2016 Ford Fusion but can’t find it anywhere I’ve took of the glove box but can’t see any fuse panel, On the manual said “it may be easier to have access to it by removing the finish trim piece
  12. I've searched google and can't find an answer. I am wanting to know how you can tell if your windshield has been replaced. It is a 2017 Fusion Hybrid. I have attached a photo that shows the current markings on what I have now. There is not a Ford logo on it but all my other windows have a Ford logo. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  13. Bought used 2015 Ford Fusion Energi on April 24th, 2018. Drove home then 3 days later overheated. Bought from used car dealer, but they farmed it out to a Ford Dealership for evaluation. Brought it back 3 or 4 times, but overall the Dealership has had the car way more than I have. They cannot find the problem and want to "break down" the engine at my cost. The used car dealer is refusing to pay even though I have a limited 1000 mile warranty from them. Even though I had less than 36000 miles on it, the warranty was over 36 months from date of original purchase, therefore Ford is not willing to do anything. The warning light says " motor coolant over temperature" and the overheating symbol comes on. If you look at the temperature gauge, it reads normal. Anyone else have a similar experience?
  14. Has anyone tried these? https://www.ebay.com/p/LED-Driver-Fog-Light-DRL-Daytime-Running-Light-for-Ford-Fusion-MONDEO-2017-2018/11024695140?iid=273556871833&chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=273556871833&targetid=475515326141&device=t&mktype=pla&googleloc=9009601&poi=&campaignid=1669934846&mkgroupid=65058350619&rlsatarget=pla-475515326141&abcId=1139296&merchantid=137697827&gclid=CjwKCAjw4ZTqBRBZEiwAHHxpflfrvd5kYufDahiB-dTY4OEp0XFQMgMgc9gThzq6UHMa9H6B_5xO1xoC198QAvD_BwE
  15. I recently purchased a used 2013 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid with about 56,000 miles. I'm still learning the car. I have an issue with the AC. It seems like it is always on. It was 80 degrees outside yesterday. I have the control set on 74, but I don't have the AC on. It still seems like I feel a light, cold breeze coming out of all vents. Any thoughts? I am not the most mechanically inclined person so I may be missing something incredibly simple.
