I have a 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Yesterday, while parking, I noticed the back up camera sounded... Off. Normally, as you get closer to the other car, the sound is more high pitch beeping out of all speakers, but yesterday, the sound seemed like it was only coming from the driver side, and it was lower, like a heart monitor beep rather than high pitched. Does anyone know what's wrong or have any advice on what to look for?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a backup camera that will work the best with my car. Note that display is not touch screen. Is there a camera that will work with existing screen without screen replacement? Thanks

Everyt I put R on I display blinks couple of time (sometimes it can show a pic for a while) and then I get "Rear view camera unavailable" message. Interesting point is that it's happening only on hot weather (summer, late spring) and almost never happen on winter. I though may be it's a cabling problem, tried to check but didn't manage to find anything broken. Is there anyone having such kind of problem? Thanks.

I have a 2013 Fusion Se that has the basic radio system in it. I'm pretty sure that it is the six speaker system, two in each front door and one in each back door. I am interested in upgrading to a touchscreen and adding a backup camera. I would like for it to work with the steering wheel controls as well as the Ford Sync voice command. I would like to have the ambient lighting feature that the 2015 taurus has. I can live without it having navigation capabilities. Does anybody have experience making this switch? I'm interested to know which touchscreen radios would offer these features and which ones are the more reliable systems? I don't know what comes stock in the fusions other than that they are Sony, but I suspect there are better and more affordable options. Any information on this would be much appreciated!

My 2013 Fusion has the non touch 4.2" Sync screen. Am I able to add the oem backup camera to this setup? Does the camera feed through the 4.2" sync screen, or via the rearview mirror? Looking on fordparts.com for the rearview mirror, it doesn't mention the camera, but neither does any of the audio parts. -
I have this system coming in, and it should be here tomorrow: http://www.pyleaudio.com/sku/PLCMDVR42 I am hoping that I can wire it into something up in the map light console, but I'm unsure if there's anything up there that would work. I have a 2012 Fusion SE and it is not equipped with a auto-dim mirror, just a standard old-school one with no cables/boxes coming out of the headliner. In the past (from experiences with my old mustang) I've noticed that Ford included the appropriate cables to plug-n-play add on accessories, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. If so, I could wire in to the cable that would be hanging out in the console not connected to anything. Does anyone have any experience with this type situation and could tell me if that cable is in there before I start taking my car apart? Also, if anyone has a wiring diagram for that cable could you post it for me?
