A few days ago I had the Service Advance Trac and No Hill Assist messages come up on my dash, all power steering was lost. I finally got my car towed to the garage today to find out that there was corrosion all around the motor for the power steering where it is mounted to the steering rack. The rack is actually broken. I have seen posts all over the internet about these warnings on the dash, but not everyone has posted the outcome. Can you please let me know if you have had your steering rack actually break. Of course my car is just out of warranty, but the rack was only covered on the bumper to bumper, so any help from Fords is unlikely unless I can prove this has happened to other people. All the posts about the warnings are not good enough unless I can see that others have had their racks break on a 2013 Fusion. I am the first car my dealership has seen this happen too, and the car has been in for every maintenance and recall to date...
