2007 fusion sel 4 cylinder w/ 281k miles. 90% of the time when I start my car, the thermostat/climate controls are turned off instead of being at the settings I used last. I’ve googled this issue a dozen times and it’s always pages of other issues with thermostats. Everything works fine when I turn it on. My car just doesn’t “remember” and has it off upon start up. Recently replaced the blower motor and resistor for other reasons. Issue still there

Hello anyone who can help me..I got a remote start for my 2014 Ford Fusion as a Christmas present because I have no garage and wanted to heat my car up and melt ice and snow without going out in the weather so my wonderful parents bought all of us kids and my son (their grandson) a remote starter and arranged the installations at Best Buy for each of us! Well I just got mine done finally and even my key fob for the door locks works to start my car now if I hit lock and unlock back and forth. Anyway... long story short I start my car from in the house with the heater turned on to defrost the windows... go out 15 minutes later and the heat isn't on, windows are still covered with ice, but when I put the key in the ignition the heat comes on with wonderful heat !! I checked the book and if you HAVE a factory remote start you can go into settings and change this to have the heat come on before the key is inserted I believe but what am I supposed to do if it's an aftermarket remote start and I have no option for that in my settings ?? Computers on cars have ruined even the simplest functions now days. I want the heat on in my car WHEN I START IT !! Not when I get in with the key and I'm supposed to have a defrosted car already and be going !! HELP please guys. There has to be a way you can fix this so my heat comes on when the car starts even without the factory remote start !!!

I have a 2013 Fusion Titanium. I am in Canada so my heat settings are in celsius and should max at 30 degrees. When I started my car this morning the climate control was wierd. The temperature for the Driver was showing as 60 degrees and on the passenger side it wasn't showing any number at all, it had what looked like a half zero instead. The blower was on max, blowing cold air, and was switching between all the vents on its own. I tapped the +/- buttons a couple of times and finally the screen balanced out and showed HI for the Driver. The dual setting was on so I turned it off and both Driver and Passener showed HI but it was still blowing cold air. I turned off my car and let it sit for a few minutes and turned it back on and it was still blowing cold air. I was late for work and it was a warm morning so I drove with the fans on low and on my drive fiddled with the temp settings. After 15 minutes of driving, when I put it on HI warm air started blowing, but any other setting and it was still blowing cold air. I am planning on taking it to the Dealership but am curious if anyone else has run into this. I would like to have a general idea of the cause in case the dealer tries to take advantage of me.
