Hello All! New to this forum, I searched, went through about 10 pages of hits and could not find any info around this topic. The 2020 SE AWD 2.0 does not come with the LED DRL, and for some reason that makes me very mad :) I really want the LED DRL on my headlamps. I see multiple products on Ebay, but I am not one to trust random Chinese suppliers / products without a recommendation. Is it possible to switch out the OEM non-LED DRL headlamps for my Fusion model with an aftermarket or even an OEM replacement for a Hybrid or Titanium that has the LED DRL into the SE? How do I wire strip led’s as daytime running lights for my 2014 Ford Fusion. Ideally I’d like them to stay on anytime I have the car on so I’m not sure if there is a specific way to wire them or not. Any help would be appreciated. -
Does anyone know what bulbs I need to replace my factory drls? My book has no entry for them. None of the parts stores know. I want all of the bulbs on hand before I pull the front bumper off to get to the housings! If no one knows I guess I will go to a dealer. Thanks. -
I've been searching this for a while and can't find the information I am looking for. I installed HID's with a relay and capacitor and blew out two different ballasts. After contacting the manufacturer, the problem seems that I still have the DRL's running. My car doesn't have the option to turn them off, and the dealer wants $60 to do this, which is ridiculous. I was hoping to either find the fuse and remove it, or download the VCM software to do it myself as I already have a cable. Well, I can't find which fuse it is, and I can't find the software for a cheap price. Anyone have any help or advice on what they did??

Does anyone know how to turn-on the daytime running lights (DRL) without going to the dealer? People state on other forums that the dealer sometimes turn the DRL for a small fee. Also, some people state Ford doesn't want dealerships to turn the DRL on because it drains the battery on the Energi.

I just had my DRL's activated on my 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium at my local Lincoln dealer. It took less then 5 minutes from start to finish. All that was done was a laptop was hooked up to the data port then from there they were turned on. The DRL's are about one third the normal brightness of the headlights. They come on automatically when the car is placed in gear.
