I had a check engine on my 14 S Hybrid that came back with P26CA & U019F as the 2 top results when scanned. After some research all signs point to the electric coolant pump (DS7Z8C419D, PW611, & PW544) and its harness connector. Of the limited amount of info I've found on google and YouTube, i cannot find anything that shows where this is located. Does anyone have experience with this?

I have a 2010 Fusion SE. I was able to get my hands on leather seats from a 2010 SEL, my question is, does the se come prewired for a powered passenger seat? Can’t tell by looking before removing existing factory seat...

Hi, Tomorrow I'm buying the car (2006 Fusion SE 108K miles) from a friend and had a few questions, any help would be appreciated. 1) The biggest issue he can think of is that the AC comes on sometimes without him turning it on; he just toggles if on then off and it shuts off. Anyone know if this is a precursor to anything down the line? 2) I have headlights, a new battery, and sport rims (215/45/17) from my 2006 Civic EX coupe (200k miles) that I'd like to put on this car. Will the rims fit the car correctly and do the headlights have the same connection? Can I just switch batteries over? 3) Anything to look for down the line that could keep me from draining a lot of money into this car? I'm hoping this can hold me over for a couple years until I have a shorter commute. Thank you for any and all help!!!!!!!

PLEASE HELP!!! all i did was disconnect the battery to locate some wires. 2 hours later i reconnected the wires to the battery terminal. there was a spark when i reconnected the positve back. no, I didn't connect the wires to the wrong terminals, and I didn't do any wire splicing so it's not possible that any wires were crossed. i'm a tech/mechanic by trade, so i'm pretty meticulous with procedure. i checked all the fuses in all 4 compartments(1@ sjb, 3 in engine compartment), pulled each and every one out, checked visually and with the multimeter. i also checked to make sure all the relays are working. all fuses checked out okay. the car starts, but the digital displays don't work, turn signals do not work, power steering doesn't work. radio doesn't work, key remote doesn't work, headlights and foglights turn on, but cannot high beam. winshield wiper works, but winshield spraying doesn't work. lights to interior control only go on for a few seconds when i press the radio on button. driver's side control to windows and lock/unlock do not work, nor mirrors, nor seat memory. window controls to all other 3 doors work, sunroof works, both power seat controls work, but heated seats do not. trunk doesn't open when button is pressed from inside or out, but keypad controls work. so right now my driver's side windows are left open. i went to 4 mechanics who are already charging an arm and a leg to just look at it. hence the reason i never go to mechanics, i do repair and maintenance myself. but these new cars these days are crazy PLEASE HELP? what could have possibly went wrong? it's not making any sense! any ideas or suggestions please!!!! 2014 ford fusion se, 39k, 2.0 ecoboost.

Hi there and thanks for reading my post I will get straight to the point. I'm new to the whole "Electric/Hybrid" craze and I have a few questions about the Hybrid style Fusion. When driving when does the electric motor kick in and when will it stop? I drive freeway for about 90% of my daily work would this car be good for that? How does it handle in the snow? How is the gas millage are people getting close to the 47/47? Right now I drive a Chevy Equinox which is getting 22/32 so this would be a def step up from that. I have test drove the Volt I love it but I'm not in love with the price "Techy" here! Also I will be leasing not buying Thank you so much!!!! Mike
