My local Ford dealer tells me that my 2015 Titanium does not have a cabin air filter. Is there a way I can determine this without removing the glove box? It seems strange to me that there would not be a cabin air filter. The owner manual says change every 20,000 miles. Thanks. -
Hello all, I have spent a couple hours trying to find the Fuel Filter part number and location on my 2013 EcoBoost fusion. Does anyone know the part I need and the location of the filter? Part is nowhere to be found on the Ford parts catalog. I saw some videos on YouTube for the location but all of them where different engines to mine so I'm not sure. Also, I found a motorcraft PN on Autozone but Ford's catalog says that part number is not for my car. Please let me know if you need more info. Thank you. -
Some people said that it is better to install an inline filter for transmission fluid and change it regularly to have added protection. My car is 2012 Ford Fusion SEL V6 3.0L FWD. I found that the only rubber part of the transmission fluid return line is only about 10 inches long, and it is twisted under the air box. I wonder if anyone has done this kind of installation before, and how it was done. Is it necessary to cut open the tube? Is the tube size 3/8”? -
Hello there!! I am a recently new fusion owner and new to this forum. i'm not sure this question has been answered but i'm going to ask anyways. i just did my first fusion oil change. it is a 2010 SE 2.5 auto, has about 48000 miles on it. being the type of person i am, i chose motorcraft syn blend and a motor craft oil filter. after changing my oil, the engine was noticeable louder. im not sure if its me or if the oil did something to it. when i purchased it from the dealership, there was an oil change sticker that said it used Castrol. the engine was more quiet then. i live in central texas and having 5/20 seems not enough protection for this heat. so, what kind of oil and filters do you guys use, any noise from engine after oil change, could you use 5/30 and be ok? thanks for you help ahead of time
