  1. Hello, last November I got into an accident and had to replace my left rear door, I had a shop replace the door with an OEM door I sourced from a wrecked vehicle. After it was fixed he informed me he could not get the window to roll down in the time he had it, I said I would deal with it myself. Please watch the video for more info, any help would be useful thanks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beMaDh_8...e=youtu.be
  2. While shifting through gears 1st - 3rd there is no issues. When the vehicle attempts to engage the 4th gear, the engine revs up a bit, but it is not excessive revving, feels like computer rev matching. During this time, there is no slippage, no grinding, no other notable or noticeable problems. The gear simply does not engage. After a few moments (3-5 seconds) it feels as though the computer recognizes a fault, and attempts to engage the last known working gear... Which unfortunately is often 2nd gear as it seems the computer will skip 3rd gear depending on acceleration applied. This causes a jolt, but feels normal for an automatic getting dropped into a lower gear while going a high speed for that gear. After some looking around, I read somewhere that it's possible this was a problem with one of the solenoids. I was curious if anyone else has had this problem, and what they did for a fix. I broke the vehicle down where needed to get into the solenoid valve body area. All I am waiting on is to replace them, but I didn't want to make a purchase if someone else was to say "WAIT, I DID THIS AND IT WORKED". Call me a rookie, I deserve it -- but when I went to drain the transmission fluid It was nasty, and smelled terrible. Could this cause an otherwise operable solenoid to temporarily malfunction? Here is the eBay page showing the solenoids I'm looking at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/132018268320?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true
  3. Hi all, I have a 2012 SE and the front bumper has started to noticeably sag near the headlight. This didn't bother me at first, but now it sags about 1/2" or so and it seems to be starting to cause the rest of the drivers side to sag a bit as well. I did some searching and saw that this seems to be a common issue, but hadn't found anything on how people had fixed it. Is there a way to get access to this without taking off the whole bumper? If so would 3M tape or something similar work to keep it held up? Really don't have the time/money to replace the bumper as I'm in nursing school at the moment. Plus it seems like a lot of money for a couple badly manufactured fascia clips. I don't mind some tinkering, but was wondering if there were any tried-and-true methods for fixing it? Thanks for any help you can give! -Jon
  4. So I noticed an air leak in my tire which is about 10 PSI a week. First visual inspection showed no obvious problems so I refilled the tire back to 38PSI (3 PSI over the recommended pressure). But a week later my dashboard yelled at me again that I have a low pressure. So I took it to the tire shop where they found a screw and that they have to replace the whole tire since it's in the sidewall. It's going to cos me $218 with rotation and ballancing - ouch. The screw is really in the sholder and so I wonder if replacement is really necessary. Please check out the picture and let me know what you guys think as $200 is a lot of money for me, but I also don't want to negotiate my safety. I'm talking about Ford Fusion Sport 2012 with GoodYear Eagle tires.
