A few days ago, I noticed that my brights were on and I still had it on the auto setting. I couldn't get them to turn off, and when I flipped the dial over to just headlights, no light came. I thought it was weird and have been driving with just my fog lights on because I don't want to blind anyone. I didn't think both of the headlights would go out at the same time, so today I tried to check the fuse. Somehow, in both the manual in the car and online, I have been unable to figure out which fuse goes to the headlights! I really want to make sure there isn't an electrical issue before I have to take of the bumper to replace the bulbs which is absolutely ridiculous. Is this a common issue? Which fuse actually protects the headlights? Do I really have to take off the entire bumper just to replace a headlight? Thanks for any help. Edit: the car is also a hybrid if that makes any difference

I am trying to troubleshoot what is happening with my headlight. I recently bought the car, and all the lights worked until a day or so ago. Now the driver side headlight is not working. I changed the bulb, not it. Checked fuses, struggled with this but im almost sure that is not the problem either.

I want to convert the power points (sockets) in my 2012 SEL so they will go off after a few minutes after the key is removed, just like the power to the moonroof, windows and radio does. Reason is so my GPS will go off automatically and not have to remmeber to manually turn it off. I dont want to remove dash panels or re-wire behind it. Should be able to do it at the engine comp't fuse box. Anyone done this? Also, anyone have a clue on how to easily remove those closely packed "j-case" fuses in the engine comp't fuse bax?
