So I installed H11 led headlight bulbs and with the fan being part of the light unit my dust caps won’t fit back over. Leaving them off is causing condensation to build up inside the headlight assembly and drives me crazy. Anyone figure out a way to make them work? I suppose I could cut around the fan but getting a good seal would be difficult.

I have a 2009 Fusion SEL 3.0l and I just installed the Hikari R8-H11 Ultra LED, and after I plug them in, I also verified that the wiring was correct cause they are not like the factory halogen bulb were the plug is one way, you can plug the LED in either way luckily the LED is marked positive and negative but when I turned on the car it threw the left and right headlight warning on the display on the dash, ive never had this problem with a plug n play LED. Any suggestions?

First of all I want to thank everyone in advance who answers this, my wife wreaked her 2010 fusion sport, and I have to replace the front clip bumper hood fender ect, the passenger door I will find one off a 2010 to 2012 my question is can I change her front clip to anything newer she really like the look of the ones a little newer. Is it possible to go with like a 2015 or something front clip thank you

A few days ago, I noticed that my brights were on and I still had it on the auto setting. I couldn't get them to turn off, and when I flipped the dial over to just headlights, no light came. I thought it was weird and have been driving with just my fog lights on because I don't want to blind anyone. I didn't think both of the headlights would go out at the same time, so today I tried to check the fuse. Somehow, in both the manual in the car and online, I have been unable to figure out which fuse goes to the headlights! I really want to make sure there isn't an electrical issue before I have to take of the bumper to replace the bulbs which is absolutely ridiculous. Is this a common issue? Which fuse actually protects the headlights? Do I really have to take off the entire bumper just to replace a headlight? Thanks for any help. Edit: the car is also a hybrid if that makes any difference -
Hi, Tomorrow I'm buying the car (2006 Fusion SE 108K miles) from a friend and had a few questions, any help would be appreciated. 1) The biggest issue he can think of is that the AC comes on sometimes without him turning it on; he just toggles if on then off and it shuts off. Anyone know if this is a precursor to anything down the line? 2) I have headlights, a new battery, and sport rims (215/45/17) from my 2006 Civic EX coupe (200k miles) that I'd like to put on this car. Will the rims fit the car correctly and do the headlights have the same connection? Can I just switch batteries over? 3) Anything to look for down the line that could keep me from draining a lot of money into this car? I'm hoping this can hold me over for a couple years until I have a shorter commute. Thank you for any and all help!!!!!!! -
2010 Fusion, 2.5L SE With the lights off and doors closed, there is no “lights on warning chime,” but when the door is opened, then warning chime goes off. Any ideas on what is causing this? Fuse? I have a 2015 ford fusion se EcoBoost, and when I visit the manual is not consistent with the car, is another way to take of this feature( taking a wire of the plug of the headlights or something). I live in Puerto Rico and is not law to have them. Please help

Hey there, I'm having a couple issues with my car that could all be related, but I'm not sure, so I figured I'd pick the forum's brain to see if anyone else has had similar issues and possibly knows the cause. I have a 2010 Fusion SE, and I drive it maybe one per week, so the car is sitting in the garage quite a bit. The first time I had any issue the car had been sitting for two days. In that time I did access the car with my remote but did not start the engine. When I eventually did go to start my engine, the remote did not work. I used the key to open the door. When I put the key in the ignition and turned, the engine started, however I could not shift out of park. Most electronics didn't work either. The engine combustion seemed off too. The only electronics that seemed to work were the windshield wiper switch and the radio. The solution: I disconnected and then reconnected the battery and then the car worked fine. This situation happened again a couple months later, after the car was sitting for a couple days. This time I didn't even touch the car while it was sitting. Also, this time the engine wouldn't turn. Instead the car just emitted a clicking sound when I turned the ignition key. The solution: disconnect the battery and then jump the car. Since that time my car battery has died two times after sitting for several days. One time I checked the voltage and it read about 3.5V, however after it was fully charged it read 14V, so I don't think there are any bad cells. Either way I am going to get a new battery soon, but I don't believe the battery is necessarily the problem. One night I was outside and I noticed the car headlights and brake lights would briefly flash every few minutes. So I'm starting to think this is a computer problem. Has anyone had similar issues? Like I said, I am going to replace the battery soon. Also, I will probably try to see if the computer is throwing any error codes. -
2017 Fusion Hybrid SE with automatic high beam control. Was at dealership to test out. I've never seen them engage, nor can I figure out a way to simulate dark enough conditions for the automatic high beams to engage. Set to automatic lights, menu option for automatic high beams set to on. (Automatic on/off works fantastic). I've tried in my garage with the automatic low beams on, then tried placing various sizes of cardboard to block the camera, but never any luck. At dealership, ironically Ford does not have a procedure to check them other than electrical tests which were all performed. They performed a PMI configuration of the image module. Also may need to order new IPMA module is the final word. Anyone else with automatic high beams ever have the problem where they won't engage? If so, was it ever solved?

Do the 2017 Fusions have LED headlights? Either as an option or standard based on trim level. Is the actual light produced by LEDs or does it just mean halogen lights with LED running lamps?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience in installing Oracle Halo's in their factory headlights and/or fog lights. My question is geared towards the wiring aspect. Can anyone walk me through how to wire these into my factory harnesses. I am trying to avoid having to use a secondary switch to operate them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! -

I am trying to troubleshoot what is happening with my headlight. I recently bought the car, and all the lights worked until a day or so ago. Now the driver side headlight is not working. I changed the bulb, not it. Checked fuses, struggled with this but im almost sure that is not the problem either.

Hello, I was looking to get a new headlight assembly for my '15 Fusion and I am a bit confused...both the low beam and the high beam appear to be projection lenses (like the low beam OEM) but for some reason the seller insists that the low beam HAS to take D2H bulbs (HID) even though the high beams take H1 bulbs. Is there something that I am missing here? Would it still work if I installed the regular bulbs (H7 and H11)? Thanks to anyone who has any insight on this! -
Good Morning all! This is my first car that I've ever purchased (albeit a used car ) and ever since then I've been looking up ways to 'improve' my car. I started off by buying an HID conversion kit from OPT7. I bought an 8k 55w Slim OPT7 AC HID Conversion kit off of eBay from opt7-lighting themselves. I've been reading and people are talking about if they are 'slim' conversion kits a wiring harness is usually not needed - others say different. I have some Sylvania ZXE Xeon bulbs on right now in the car - (and they SUCK). The bulb packaging for the ZXE say the bulbs are 12.8v, 55w like the HID kit? Thanks for all your help! Hello i am new to the forum and am a proud owner of a 2014 ford fusion se. On my long and expensive list of mods so far all i have done is tint and green and black emblems. I would like to do something with my headlights next. I was looking at new headlight modules but they are crazy expensive, i was thinking about doing like some type of retro fit with some halo rings. Has anyone done anything like this? is there a good way to improve the appearence of my headlights without breaking the bank? Thanks for the help. -
Okay, here's a doozie. I have a 2010 and on my way home this morning I noticed I have no headlights or fog lights and when I got out, my parking lights wouldn't shut off. The "lights on" reminder chimes, but I can't turn them off. I've checked the fuses for the headlights and they are good. I've tried the knob several times and even unplugged it, but the parking lights still remain on. -
what are the factory sizes of headlights fog lights and parking lights on the 14 fusion. I think they are H11 (headlight and fog) The parking light I am speaking of is the small halogen bulb in between high and low beam bulbs.

Hi everyone, I am hoping to do a HID retrofit on my 2006 Milan. It currently has the stock halogen projectors, and I was wondering if anyone on here knows, or has done a successful retrofit on this particular housing. I am interested in what projectors could fit, and preferably ones that will bolt right in place of the old ones. -

I just had my DRL's activated on my 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium at my local Lincoln dealer. It took less then 5 minutes from start to finish. All that was done was a laptop was hooked up to the data port then from there they were turned on. The DRL's are about one third the normal brightness of the headlights. They come on automatically when the car is placed in gear. hi fusion club, need some direction on how to trace the wires from the pass headlight harness to the fuse panel or SJB, where ever it gets it triggers from? seems like i have had no power for some time since i was running HIDs with the relay harness that powered both ballasts. no wonder the right headlight BOW was on forever.. i just paid it no mind.. for 2 years..WTF. its hard to trace since the headlight plug goes into the headlight housing.. I was checking fuses and unplugging the connectors under the dash at the sjb /fuse box.. any help would be awesome.. schematics, thoughts?? I'm a seasoned 12 volt installer so any help pointing me in the right direction would he great. Thanks, Louied -
Hey guys! Got a 2010 Fusion Sport. I've installed HIDs, which work great. Don't like when I disable the remote door locks/alarm, and the headlights turn on. Is there a way to disable the headlights when using the remote door lights Thanks.
