Hi everyone, I'm new to the FF forum and glad to be joining a group of fellow Fusion enthusiasts. I own a 2010 Fusion hybrid with about 120K miles (or 210K km for my fellow Canadians). I'm about to start a new job and will have a weekly commute of about 1,200 km across the praries between Alberta and Saskatchewan, so I'm about to begin a high mileage adventure with my car. I love my Fusion and also love not having any debt or payments, so I'm going to see how many clicks I can get before having to throw in the towel and get something new. I'm doing preventative maintenance on it and will closely monitor things like oil, transmission, and tire pressure to keep it running well. Also, I will reset the battery to get the EV mode running again, so that will help mileage. I'm waiting until early-ish April before swapping out the winter tires and plan to get new all-season tires. Mechanically, the car is fine, the problem is with salt corrosion, so the body is starting to rust, which might ultimately be the deciding factor on when to retire it. Both fog lights are long dead, the TPS alert constantly comes on, and the driver's seat warmer doesn't work. I'm on the fence about replacing the fog lights, but will pass on the other two. I watch tire pressure like a hawk, especially during the winter with temperatures below minus 20c, so I think I'm okay on that front. A warm seat would be nice on a cold morning, but not worth the (I'm estimating) cost of $500+ to repair/replace. I'm saving up for something new, but in the meantime, I'm aiming to get 200K miles out of it. I'm doing the PM work with a local mechanic, and will share the work I've done with you once I'm finished the last session with him in a few weeks. I just got the BBFLY Pro unit from the US and plan to tackle the battery reset next weekend. My first trip will be the last week of March so I'm hopeful for a quiet end to the month in terms of winter. Right now it's about -30c with the wind and a full on snow blizzard. I'm going to get bundled up and walk the dog down to the mechanic to pick up the car. Cheers from Calgary, AB!

Any estimates of the cost to replace a 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid Battery? My batter has 77,000 miles on it. Any idea of how many miles the current hybrid battery will last?
