  1. Hey, Hi! So as the tittle says, I have a problem with my fusion 2012 2.5L and idk what to do honestly. So my car shakes once i put it in drive or reverse only on those 2 but it does shakes more in drive at iddle, wanna also say that it shakes even more when i turn AC on, if i put in In Park or Neutral it doesn't shake, only in D and a little bit in R. I already changed motor mounts and did a fully tune up, thats including cleaning the sensors. Thanks!
  2. I replaced my headlights last week with some HID / LED and they absolutely sucked so I wanted to go back to stock. While the HID's were still installed the drivers high beam and drivers fog light went out. I replaced the HID / LED bulbs with the factory ones and they still don't work. I have tried checking some of fuses blind because there isn't a dedicated fuse for them so I have no idea where to start. Things i have done. The bulbs are good (tested on passenger side) Driver headlight housing is good and high beam is working (tested on passenger side plug) Confirmed power is not getting supplied to the high beam at the connection to the housing Confirmed power is not getting supplied to the fog light at the connecting driver wheel well area Please help
  3. Does anybody else have issues with their passenger side front door seal sneaking it's way out of the groove? Mine keeps doing this and it makes the passenger door harder to open because it is interfering with the rear passenger door 2013 Fusion SE with Appearance package and 2.0L EcoBoost
  4. I have a 2015 ford fusion. Yesterday was our first real cold day this fall (-10 C) and when I started the car in the morning to go to work a bunch of lights came on in the instrument cluster. ABS, AIRBAG, TRACTION CONTROL, TIRE SENSOR FAULT, SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC. THERE IS ALSO NO BACKUP CAMERA OR POWER ASSIST STEERING & POWER ASSIST BRAKES? The ONLY light that did not come on was the check engine light. Has anyone else had this problem? I also have a 2007 ford explorer and when it was new the first winter everyday the temp was below zero the airbag light would come on. Ford dealership assured me it was not a problem and that the airbag would still be functional. Just wondering if all these error lights will go off at some point and everything is actually still ok?
  5. Hey everyone, I am new to this forum stuff but I figured I'd message you all and see what you know... My 2013 Ford Fusion 1.6L ecoboost is making a ticking/knocking noise at idle. You can really hear it while at a complete stop and in gear. In park you hear it as well but not as loud.. SAYING THAT, the noise is easily heard more inside of the vehicle than outside. I made a video and posted on YouTube for you all to see... any ideas??? Any help is appreciated. WATCH THE VIDEO!!
  6. Hey guys, This has been happening for about 3 weeks now. After my car runs for about ~3 minutes, this noise (video in link) will continuously happen. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot! Video: https://youtu.be/is1HffMLCk0 Recent work: new brakes, recall work on power steering, replaced coolant pump (don't know terminology). One weird thing to note is that it will temporarily stop whenever I press the gas going into a turn, but then it returns as soon as I am going straight again
  7. Hey peeps, I've come across a good deal on a 2010 Fusion SEL, I think one that's a bit too good to pass up on, but I am hesitant to go through with it after all the horror stories Google seems to be able to pull up on the auto trannies in these cars. This car has 70K miles, and I am assuming it's a 2.5l i4 (but it very well could be a V6). I am test driving it tomorrow morning. I don't really care which engine it is, the 4cyl is adequate enough; to me all cars are slow anyway, I have my GSXR 750 track bike for going fast! The price is about 40% below market value, but it's never been in an accident. Of course, my gut is telling me that something could be seriously wrong with the car, and that I must be cautious. It's a private sale, company car, from a guy who's getting a new company car, and who did mostly highway mileage with it. I've attached one of the pics of the ad... where, believe it or not, you see the car at an auto-x event! I intend to get the VIN # from the seller and go to the Ford dealership to ask for a printout of all service records to see if it's been in the shop for transmission issues. What are some things I should pay careful attention to when I go drive the car tomorrow? Would you recommend that I buy a used, out-of-warranty, automatic 2010 Fusion given the track records for the transmissions? Would transmission repairs, TSBs, reflashes, etc., be paid for out of my pocket now that the car is out of warranty? I've rented a few Fusions and find them to be great cars with lots of desireable features, and I look forward to sell my 07 Civic and drive something nicer.
