Hello everyone, So I just purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion SE ecoboost about 2 months ago and I absolutely love my car! I do have a issue with using my keyless entry though. The day I purchased my vehicle the car salesman gave me 2 keys and the keyless entry code, I didn’t attempt to use the keyless entry until about a month ago and it did not work. So i called the dealer to see if he had given me the correct code, He explained to me how I can retrieve the factory set code with both of my keys and I do get a factory set code but it does not work. I know the keypad works bc it does lock my doors when I hit the last 2 sets of numbers but that is all. Does anyone know if I’m doing something wrong when I input the code? It’s a great feature and I’d love to utilize this feature. Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to properly use the keypad? Thank you in advance!!

For about a month now, I've been dealing with my driver door not locking via the keyless entry remote on my 2006 Fusion. I've been unlocking it manually with the key. It'll make the sound, it just doesn't unlock or lock. I've been trying to find a forum to fix this issue but I've had no luck. Will replacing the whole handle do the trick or is it something else?

Ok. I've researched this topic for hours. I bought my 2013 Fusion Titanium lightly used and it did not come with the code card. I've tried the procedure outlined in the owner's manual to obtain it. I've looked for the stickers discussed in other posts under the driver dash (I have found stickers but no code) to no avail. I see others have had luck displaying the code using the instructions in the manual. I've tried the fobs facing both ways in the backup slot. I tried pressing the start button without starting the car following the procedure. I've tried starting it while following the procedure. I've tried all combinations of the above. No code shows up in the left instrument panel to the left of the speedometer. Both keys are set up as admin. I don't know what else to try. Can someone please give me some definitive help regarding this issue? The dealer of course wants to soak me to retrieve the code.

Hi All, My 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium has Intelligent Access keyfobs with the push-button start. I've misplaced the card with my factory keyless entry code, and tried to retrieve the code using the procedure listed on page 59 of my owner's manual, using my 2 keyfobs. Nothing happens when I follow the instructions. I've tried lengthening the time between doing each of the key insertion steps as well as shortening it, and I tried inserting the fob in different positions (thinking I was misunderstanding the instructions 'key ring at top, buttons facing the car's rear') -- still, I'm not seeing any message dialog boxes displaying in the displays over the steering wheel or any on the MyFord Touch screen. Both fobs work -- they'll open the doors and start the car. MyKey status shows 2 admin keys... I'm thinking that I must be doing something wrong. Anyone else have ever had this problem? Thanks! BM
