I really wanted the 2013 Fusion with AWD. However, I live in Philadelphia and the closest one is in Maryland, has some extra stuff I don't need, and would be $70/month more on my lease payment. I don't think I'm willing to go for that last $70/month which means getting FWD.
Alternatively, I could get an 2013 Escape in my price range and it would have AWD. However, it doesn't have the lane keeping feature which sounds like it would be a really important safety feature..
So, from a SAFETY PERSPECTIVE, what's more important, AWD or lane keeper?
(Not to further complicate the discussion, but I am concerned that SUV's generally have 4 stars of safety for roll-over whereas cars have 5 stars.
All thoughts and discussion would be very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Mike
