I have a 2016 fusion se with cloth seats. I found a set of leather seats to swap into my car, but the power driver's seat didn't work after install. There are two connectors on the leather seat (one for heated seats?) but one matched perfectly with the car's harness. The airbag light is also on. Is there anything I can do to make this work?

Own a 2014 Fusion with Titanium trim. It just over 4 year's old. Despite my diligence in cleaning and feeding the car's leather, the thin - cheap grade leather on the armrest split. it gets better.....or should I say worse. As the rest of the car's leather is impeccable, I opted to replace the arm rest. Turns out you can't just purchase a replacement armrest...you have to purchase the entire assembly, including the metal mounting hinge. ($140) However, in reviewing and consulting with my dealer, it turns out the entire console needs to be removed to install this damn thing. Yep add another $375. in labor!!! Rather than design an obvious wear part in a simple way and allow for the ability to remove saw four screws/tabs from the underside of the armrest to replace it would been far more practical and a hell of a lot cheaper. I am infuriated that I am being gouged in this manner. Ford just created a heck of lot of negative goodwill with me....and the timing of such is at a time where I am actively shopping for a vehicle for my wife.

I currently have the “premium” cloth seats in my 2006 Ford Fusion. I was wondering if I could put used leather seats from another Fusion or Milan (2006-2009) into my Fusion SEL without problems. The only problem I could think of is the connections with the heated seats, I wouldn’t be able to use them but I didn’t know if the connection for the heated seats on the leather seats would cause an issue with installation.

Hello, I have a 2011 fusion that I purchased new. I have had the cracking on the drivers leather seat also. First it was on the base of the seat amd the dealer emailed photos to ford and the seat cover was replaced under warrenty, however it is not the best install as it is not as tight as the original. I then noticed the upright bolster was cracking also and same deal, Dealer took pics, sent to ford and the cover was replaced under warrenty. Unfortunatly it took them 2 tries as they ripped the covers putting them on so it took a week. Now the seat looks like shit as it is all loose and wavy. I am not sure if this is true but I have heard theat ford is using "Bonded Leather" which is a very thin layer of leather over fabric. From looking at the cracks closely it does look like fabric undr the cracks. Between this issue and the many transmission issues I have had I am very dissapointed with Ford. Pictures attached of poor loose install and cracs in seat Jim
