Dear fellows; I'm diagnosing a "crank & no start" condition in my 2010 3.0 V6 AWD that sat in the garage for a couple of years. Brand new battery; Oil + oil filter changed; The fuel pump itself got locked, so I replaced it for another with similar specs; Also replaced the pump strainer/sock + fuel pressure regulator preventively; Put the whole module to test at the work bench in a bucket with water - apparently it's working fine except for one aspect: the cup where the pump sits has to be overflowing with fuel during normal operation? If so, for some reason it's NOT happening here. I've seen videos on the subject where the mechanic/technician reports that that such overflow keeps the pump submerged in fuel, thus preventing overheating and a shorter life. I also would appreciate any help towards the identification of the module's components interconnected by a thin black hose... Tried to google technical diagrams and/or parts description of the module without sucess. I'll upload some pics soon. Thanks in advance and best regards!

Just bought a 12 Ford Fusion SEL with sony sync and the stereo stopped playing sound. Had to take it to the dealer after 2 car audio guys were unsuccessful to learn the Sony amp has gone out and needs to be replaced. Which they quoted $860. Any recommendations on the cheapest route to just get sound back again? And does anyone know where the DSP amp is located?

Where is the keyless remote module located in the 2011 Ford Fusion? I need to disconnect the power from it to try resetting it. My wife's remotes have both stopped working, after only working when right next to the car for some time. They've both had new batteries and that didn't help. Seems to be an issue with the wireless receiver. -
Just traded off my 09 Fusion 5 speed for a 12 Fusion with much less rust and miles. Trying to pair my phone to it and I keep getting “no phone” on the display. I’ve pulled the fuse and unhooked the battery in a attempt to reset everything with no success. I noticed there is no sync emblem on the console like my 09 or a USB port in the center console.This car was bought new by a older couple, was sync a option? I’m wondering if it wasn’t ordered with it. If so can I install the module and whatever else is missing? I’d assume the harness and connectors would still be there.

Hi, I own a Ford Fusion 2014 1.5 L Turbo charge. My car ran very good, but for some reason now i can not start the car and when putting the key in the ignition (i do not have the push butyon, but the keyflip key) i get the notification that my key is not detected. I've send my car to the mechanic. 1.First he tried to scan the car, but it did not want to scan.. Aftewards it did scan, but we are still having the problem that the keu is not detected. 2. He revised the fuses in the fusebox to see if the problem is there, he could not find a bad fuse. He said he also check the relay (i think it's called), no problem there. 3. Hey tried to reprogram the car, but it did not go. 4. Now he tells me that maybe i have to buy a new MULTIFUNCTIONAL CONTROL MODULE. Is it possible to get this secondhand and reprogramm this? My VIN is: 3FA6P0HD1ER157126 Please if someone can help me out with this! THANKS! -
I have a 2009 Fusion 2.3L with 110,000 miles. So far I have had to replace the water pump,belt, idler pulley, tensioner, all motor and transmission mounts and brakes. Now my ABS module has decided to take a dump and I will need to swap it out. I was able to pick one p from a junk yard for 80.00 (new is over 700) but unfortunately these modules need to be programmed to your vehicle. Ford was unable to program the module out of the vehicle before I install it, so I will need to install it first before I drive across town to have it programmed. My question is that if I install the module that is not programmed to my vehicle, will I lose all ability to use my brakes or will I have a spongy petal like I have now? Does anyone have any direct experience with replacing an ABS module?

The ABS light on my 2009 Fusion has been coming on intermittently but longer each time. Dealer diagnosed and replaced ABS control module, but light is still on. He now wants to replace whole computer, expensive as heck. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Car only has 44K miles.
